The all over college is good and also their too many activities at all sports are available co-cruciral activities are there
Also college hai carrom room where we used to play carrom on daily or weekly basis.
The college ground is also too good and so pretty and there we play cricket and football.

Course Curriculum Overview

I really like to slove statistics problems sum we do in class the course curriculum is good.. The college will conduct next exam in October and there is a 10 subjects of bcom that we have to learn in exam...

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees 8000/- the Tuition fees 20000 in a year, 200 registration fees, 500 lab fees and text book at all fees 1000/- my batch mate paid 35000 fees yearly his selected a course bscit his total yearly cost is approximately 1 lakh..

Campus Life

The college campus is good enough in campus me and friends use to seat and had a fun. Also the for social activity college have NSS for focusing social aspects. And the college hai smart board in classroom. The college infrastructure is very good and college have greenery also..

Admission

This college near by the my home and there no traveling problem and also the college is very famous and good the college hai very big ground for playing football and cricket and other sports at all.. The admission the i first fill the university form and then i fill the college form which is 100 or 200 something and then in first list i got a name in list then i paid college fees and i got admission

Faculty

The college provide very comfortable facilities and the college hai so many faculties like students have (student council) and also have discipline committee and there are so many departments the college will conduct online exam for intrnal and for external exam the used to written exam.

Placement Experience:

Final year students become eligible for campus placements from semester 5. There are quite a lot of companies that visit. From companies in the Big 4 to Taj, Wipro etc. I did not sit for campus placements so I am not sure about the number of offers made, salary packages and percentage of students getting placed as well. My plan after getting my degree is to pursue Master's in Business Management.

Smt. Mmk college of commerce and economics is an A graded college by NAAC. It has amazing faculty members teaching a subject they are an expert in. The bachelors of commerce degree is a basic graduation degree that I am pursuing and usually people opt for this while they are pursuing another professional course such as CA or CS or just haven't quite figured out what to do yet. At smt.mmk college of commerce and economics the placements that we are presented with after the completion of the degree are in association with some of the best companies in the country including aditya birla,etc. I personally opted for this course because I had no clue what I want to pursue, but here at mmk they guide you throughout your career decisions and also have various seminars based on career development,etc. Currently I am also pursuing an ACCA degree ( Association of chartered certified accountant). This was only possible with the guidance of the faculty members available at smt. Mml college of commerce and economics. Another reason as to why I opted for this college would be that it has a less need for attendance which is in most colleges around 75% but mmk grants you an attendance of only 50% which helps most of us manage two courses together or even do an internship along with the degree.

I was a student of KJ Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce. College is autonomus now and the exams paper are set by college & not university. Faculty is good. Campus is excellent. Once you leave the college, you will miss everything from lectures, 4 ways, maggi house, management canteen, IV etc. Management students do have placements in good companies. (BMS, BBI, BFM, BAF) So, in short it is a good college with decent students & faculty.

It is a well known institution. The college provides good opportunities to work with the big four. Teachers here are highly knowledgeable, and the teaching quality was also awesome. Teachers here are very helpful and always ready to help students. I want to do CA that's why I have opted for B.com.

The best college for commerce in South Mumbai

Remarks:

It is a government college so the staff can be a little lethargic. But there are a few good people too. You have to find them of course, but they are there. The office is like any other government office, but they are efficient, know their work and the work gets done. Thankfully, you only ever have to queue up once or twice a year for fees and the like, but otherwise the college functions like clock work. I had no trouble with anybody whatsoever. In face, I have eaten with one of the staff members in his home alongside (just behind the college.) Just goes to show, if you are friendly enough, they can be friendly too.
