Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course due to its focus on practical applications and industry-relevant skills, with a curriculum designed to build a strong foundation in both theory and hands-on experience. The course prepares students well for real-world applications through logical problem-solving exercises and practical projects. However, more flexibility in teaching methods, such as incorporating newer technologies and interactive learning, would enhance the learning experience.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 6th semester. Companies visiting for placements include major names such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, and others across various sectors. In total, 99% of students get placed, reflecting strong placement support from the college. The highest package is 44 lakhs per annum and average package is 5 lakhs per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearwise fees is 11000 exception of hostel fees.The tuition fees is 75000 and admission fees is 10000. Lab fees is 5000.This fees is only for BC and OBC category students. For SC and ST category students the fees may reduce based on their cut off marks. The scholarship provided in this college is general category scholarship with an amount of 10000 and pragathi scholarship with an amount of 50000 and this is exception for first graduate students.
Campus Life
This college conducts many workshops and technical events. one of the most popular event is BIT hackathon which encourages the students to showcase their technical skills within this college.Technical events are held by departments to explore skills among different colleges. The classrooms are provided with projectors to visualise and understand the concept clearly. Many clubs like coding club, English club,greatminds club are there in our college.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are well-equipped with essential facilities such as separate beds, study tables with study lights, cupboards, and shelves. The meal quality in the hostel is commendable, offering a variety of dishes daily. The registration process for the hostel is simple and can be done either during the counseling process or at the start of the semester.
Admission
This college is one of the top most college in this surrounding areas.so I gave my first priority to this college in counselling and got admission letter from his college. The main reason is that this college gives 99% placement to all students in their interested fields either in IT industries or core related companies.
Faculty
The faculty members in our college are very friendly and they provoke our thought process and logical thinking abilities.The ratio of faculty to student is 1:20.There are two exams in one semester. One internal exam and one external exam. These exams only contains logical thinking questions. If we could understand the concept we could clear the exam easily.
