Likes

The campus life is the best one in BIT because they provide you the best atmosphere to learn and evolve
The placement opportunities is excellent since they bring more number of companies and thats really great
Infrastructure is awesome and 24/7 labs are available to master skills in different domain

Dislikes

Their skill classes like day skill and night skill is not useful to that extent.The trainers need to be the best
High workload and stress for students making it difficult
Faculty quality should be improved,many dont have that much knowledge but still survives

The curriculum needs to be improved since the advanced concepts are not at all included and thus the industry required skillsets need to be added in the curriculum.The exams are quite easy since they expect one line answers and they want to test your understanding and analysis rather than the remembering skill

The placement opportunity is the best one in college as nearly 340 companies visited BIT during the last academic year 2023 anf many good companies are present such as Zoho,Soliton,TCS etc.Nearly 67 percent of student gets placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees alone costs upto 4 lakhs for 4 years and overall for dayscholar it will span upto 6 lakhs whereas for hosteller the fees will be 8 lakhs for 4 years.TN government and AICTE scholarships are available

Campus Life

Pongal vizha is the name of the event that will happen in the month of Jan and it is the best celebration and apart from that dance and music concerts will also take place.The library is the TN second largest library and sports is given good importance

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are separated into 4 different types like 4 cot,2 cot,1 cot,AC cot Bed ,fan,table,chair and basic facilities will be provided The mess rating will be 7/10 since the taste varies but hygiene remains the same Hostel registration will be avalable when you enroll in the admission phase

Admission

The eligibility for my course is my grade 12 physics chemistry maths marks.my cutoff is 187 during the year 2021 which was affected by covid 19 and the application process is present in tngovt engineering councelling website.The frequency of exams is twice in a year which occurs in june and december month

The faculty do a lot of work and teaches moderately , but still they can improve and many professional faculties need to be recruited for the betterment of the students.The interaction ratio is quite good since i interact with faculty everyday

Beyond the classes: My College Experience

Placement Experience:

Our college is well known for its placements. Almost many MNC companies like Amazon,TCS, visit our college and recruit the top performing students.Students are instructed to do 30 days of internship in remote,hybrid or industrial online before their 6th semester.During the 7th semester, students become eligible to attend the placements. The highes package offered previous year was 21 lakhs per annum and the average package is around 5 lakh per annum. Here students receive 3 options 1. Placement 2. Masters 3. Government Exams . As far off noe, 98%percentage of students who opt for placements get placed. I want to get placed after finishing my degree.

The admission process was very smooth... actually there is no entrance exam... you can easily get into the college through 12th grade marks...or else through the management quota, can contact the college directly and reach out for admission process....the academic fee including hostel would range around 2lpa and this is worth to great extent...The college provided me with excellent service all over and the 4 years of journey would be a great time where you can get to know a lot of things and gain knowledge in various other streams apart from your field....the facilities are very friendly and can reach out at any time....My course is BE EEE and I went through the management quota...the eligibility for the stream would range around 188+ cutoff....Can reach out to the college and know further details... reservation benefits are also available... there are various scholarships provided by the college also supports educational loans...further on the admission process would be in a best way....Read More
