Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is fine. Like I am in ECE, the curriculum is ok for those who want to pursue core engineering in future, but it is hectic for those who want to choose software engineering. The semester duration is only of 4 months, yes it is fine, but the subjects per semester is around 7-8, which makes it difficult to give individual time to per subject. Also there are some subjects like Environment, which tells us to save paper, but the same subject exam is taken on answer sheet, which of 16 pages and the answers supposed to be written is of only 5-6 pages

Internships Opportunities

2.5

There are many companies, since there are 200+ companies, some of the companies are Microsoft, Cisco, Qualcomm, Oracle, VISA, PhonePe, Adobe, Amazon etc. The roles offered are for various positions, ML Engineer, Dev Ops Engineer, Web Developer, Blovkchain Developer etc. Since I am in second year so no internship is provided till yet

Placement Experience

4

After 6th semester, you are eligible to sit for placements. Here the last placement year, the placement percentage was around 72%, even after recession. Around 200+ companies visit our college for placements. My plans after the degree is to get a good placement offer in software domain

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The caution fees is 3000, tution fees per semester is 62,500 and other compulsory charges are 19,000. The SC/ST and the students having family income less than 1 Lakh per annum are exempted to pay tution fees. Remission of 2/3 rd Tution fees for General and OBC students having family income between 1 Lakh to 5 Lakhs per annum

Campus Life

3.5

Here the annual and technical fests are held together which is known as Culrav-Avishkar, which held in months of November. Here are some books, which you do not get, but yes you can get their alternatives. You only need college ID Card for issuing of books Here the facilities are very outdated provided by college, but the facilities in teachnical clubs provided by seniors are good. Student run social groups are anokhi pahel, in which college students teach underprivileged children. Sports and extracurricular is fine, we regularly go for inter college competitions

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facility is fine, we get four or three seater hotel in first year, and the study room and sleeping room are seperate. Here we don't get wifi, we get LAN, through which we can connect our laptop through LAN cable. In second year, we get two seater rooms, we get room size on the basis of CGPA. Meal quality is fine, atleast 3-4 days in a week, the meal we get is special meal. Registration process is easy, we need to only pay through college website

Admission

I chose this college because of its average placement in ECE. The ECE average package is around 20 Lakhs per annum. Also here, the alumni connection is strong. To get admitted in this college, you have to give JEE Mains exams and score 99 percentile above to get admitted in ECE branch.

Faculty

1.5

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:30. Here, faculty to student relationship is worst. You never know what is your marks in the exams, we are not able to see our test copies. They even do not even tell, how the grade division they have done. There is lack of transparency in showing test copies. The proff I like the most till now is Pramod Kumar Yadav sir from Mathematics Department, even if he takes extra classes, but his teaching is awesome. He showed our exam papers and told the grade vs marks distribution. There are many proffs that I don't like, they very psycho, they don't understand the problem of students. Sorry but I cannot take their name

Campus placement is not that good. Hardly 2-3 companies come here for foodtech. But there are job opportunities for this course. It is a growing field. Outside the campus, if applied in any company, there are chances of selection based on the skills and knowledge one has related to the field
