Entrance Preview

I gave IBSAT entrance test for the course in which is scored about 75. I chose this course over others because i had come across very good reviews about the college faculties and the placements. Also it gave an MBA degree not a PGPM or a PGDM.

Course Curriculum Overview

They follow a case study based methodology where in they use cases published by Harvard Business School for which they pay a good amount to them in order to subscribe to their cases. The course is structured in a best student friendly manner.

Internships Opportunities

Few companies that came for internship was:Ford - 20000, JPMC - 30000, Purple talk - 12000, Pepsico - 10000, Delmonte - Not aware.

Placement Experience

90% of the batch was placed. JPMC - 9, DE SHAW - 13, CRISIL - 6, UBS - 8, WIPRO - 6, FACTSET - 6. 5, COGNIZANT - 8, KPMG - 6, BANK OF AMERICA - 8, HDFC BANK - 7, FORD - 6, CBRE - 7, RADIO CITY - 6, ECLERX - 9, ICRA - 6, CARE - 6, PRACTO - 6.

College Events

Trishna - It is the annual fest of the college consisting all genres of event. Most of the colleges from south india and few from west india participate. Have a footfall of around 1000+ for the event. They are able to get good brands for sponsorship. Aaverage - It is the annual sports fest of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are scholarship available for the students who score above 9cgpa in a semester.

Campus Life

The campus life is the best i would say, there is good diversity as students come from all over india. There are many clubs which are active on the campus some of which are academic, non-academic, extra curricular. A student will be always short on time if he has interest in a particular subject.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are spacious enough. Single rooms with enough facilities. Hostel is equipped with playing area and a night cafe. The fees to be frank are on the higher band but the kind of facilities and value add the college makes it is worth it. Mess food

Alumni/Alumna

9 on a scale of 10. The alumni network is pretty wide. There are many senior students who are placed in all top companies all over. I interacted with many alumni who helped me choosing my desired work profile.

Like most of the companies come. It is on students how they perform all the infrastructure and all the learning resources and all the experience which is required to the student is provided here like Library is open till two, you can go and hustle there and and learn new skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think MBA was good structure in the market. But if the students was completing MBA through this college was not worth in the market. Because they can't teach according to the latest technology. In the interviews also they are asking the latest technological questions which was not find in my MBA.

Remarks:

There are so such negative remarks about the college. It can be very strict about attendance sometimes, but it won't be an issue with proper medical bills. The college, otherwise, provides with every facility and is concerned about the betterment of every student.

Remarks:

I love the atmosphere here at OU, its very easy to make friends. Everyone is so nice and accepting, its a nice change from the mean kids in my highschool who judged everyone. No one judges you here and it's also academically challenging which makes sure you are getting the best edu ation possible, with many resources available to fit any academic/tutoring needs.

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. IBS has the reputation of one of the best B-Schools in the country, offering innovative and globally accepted programs and great opportunities for all-round development. I heard this from my college , who was a alumni of this institute and convinced me to pursue my Masters from there. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website (www.ibshyderabad.org) followed by online application fee payment around 1000.
