Course Curriculum Overview
The course provided is very comprehensive and covers various domains of subject and is very helpful for every type of student as it covers the fundamental concepts and exams too cover all the chapters taught and marking is done based on the performance of student in exam and based on teachers evaluation.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are very frequent and many big MNCs like google, Microsoft, HCL, Infosys and other core companies comes on regular basis and provide a handsome package to the students ranging from 80lpa to average CTC of 8.2 lakhs. One can also get pre placement offers in 6th Sem and internships starting from 5th sem onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
IET provides affordable and flexible fee structure for students of various branches and provides specialisation in computer science department. The Annual fee is 99275 for students of CS- AI and CS- SF and for students of other branches it is 84775. This means extra rs 15000 for above two branches. One can apply UP Post matric other than intermediate Scholarship and can get a scholarship above rs 60000 for general and OBC and around rs 100000 for SC and ST category
Campus Life
Btech is not just a degree meant for studying only but comprises of the overall comprehensive development of the character and personality of the students. In this the clubs plays most important role. IET provides various clubs like coding club, literary club, dance club, singing club and others. The central library also consists of various types of books from all domains and one can issue it for their studies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Life must be the chillest in the BTech and I personally never regretted about being in hostel. As the mess provides tasty and fresh meals with proper nutrients, my myth of having a poor meal in mess has also been exited.
Admission
As IET is considered one of the top Government college of Uttar pradesh, I preferred it as it is close to my home(varanasi) and also serves as a better place of education for those you didn't make it to iits or nits. I must say that this is a college full of talent and by proper care by government has shown its full potential as and when time comes.
Faculty
As the college is autonomous and affiliated to AKTU. The exams are conducted as per the guidelines of AKTU and Teachers are appointed based on their qualification by the HODs of various department having a brilliant experience in study. The evaluation is based on the Teachers assessment and Semester exams.
