IET Lucknow most realistic reciew

If i talk about course curriculum it is similar to that of IIT K it is following the same pattern so some subjects like compiler design are not that relevant in today industry but subjects like dsa, os and dbms computer network are relevant to industry

There are internship opportunities provided by placement cell as recently google and de shaw came for summer intern for the software developer engineer intern role . And the stipend for these are 1.25 L per month and 90k per month .

Students are eligible for placement since there 7th sem. Recently google and de shaw came for summer internship. My friend also got internship in google with the help of placement cell. Frequently humming wave, contlo , genpect , tcs comes in our college for campus recruitment. If i talk about recent years 14 LPA is the highest one and average was about 4-5 LPA . Most pf the students get the placement if they are eligible. I want campus placement as my backup option.

Basically in our college the yearly fee of my program is 99275 which is similar for all categories. But there is a section of fee waiver students whose tution fee is off. You can also avail benefits of UP scholarship which gives nearly 60k for gen and obc students and 100k for the SC/ST students. If you opt for hostel you get it for 14500 annually and mess charges are 20000 per sem. One thing which is very good is that you only have to pay it yearly not semester wise like once you paid you don't have to pay anything over the year

We have our annual cultural fest encore that happens in march april but in recent year instead of encore we are having advent that happens in may . In the library we have wide range of books although i haven't been in the library thing . In new classroom we have projectors for slides presentation also all type of lab facilities are available. We have a huge sports complex in our college that accompany cricket, football, and other athletics event. There is a student run social club called Parmarth which helps in study of slum kids. We have technical clubs like fractal and robotics that pushes students toward there career paths. Also we have different cultural clubs.

In the first year we get 4 seater room and in the room we get 2 fans and 2 tubelight. Second year also remain the same facilities but in different hostel . From third year you have two options sharing room with 3 or single room that allotted on the basis of cgpa . Meal quality and menu is above average if i rate that . Registration process of hostel is through google forms and these hostel are pretty much affordable if you compare to any PG or rented room

I have chosen IET Lucknow over college like MMMUT gorakhpur because of the location of this college which is very central in the Lucknow city that makes it easier for IT companies to come here for placement and also Lucknow is upcoming IT industry that's why i chose IET over other colleges

If i talk about my department faculties they are very lineant and supportive for students. But if you see core branches like electrical or electronics they have some serious harsh faculties they want strict 75% attendance, assignment, class notes everything prapared.
