Likes
- The lab facility and faculty members and over all I love the college.And female candidates are less than male candidates in B pharm and D pharm both the courses.Mentors also doing their job professionally and took care as a guardian.
Dislikes
- There are some person expense at the last semester for the project work as you have to buy your own chemical for your own project .This is only for last sem project.
Course Curriculum Overview
First two internal exams were easy to crack but last one is tuff as there is not time left between final sem exam and internal. And average of two sessional marks were taken which add to the final exam . Practical exams are also very strict. Externals are invited to take viva.
Internships Opportunities
The training and placement officer have the details of different companies HR contact number and contact them to give us an opportunity for internship in their industry.There is no stippen given during the course internship in B pharm .
Placement Experience
From 8th sem students are eligible for placement. I planned for govt jobs. The company like Ajanta , Sun pharma , ozone are giving best packages. All industries 1st take as a trainee after training sallary package will increase .
Fees and Financial Aid
We are the first batch of this college and it is the sister institute of GIPS guwahati. As a 1st batch we got very facility like lab instruments which costs around lakhs and crores.Our principal put extra efforts to give best learning.The environment of the college is totally peaceful it's away from noise and the environmental beauty is peaceful.The library also very good you can issue upto 5 books for 15 days and reissue it with your library card.As a 1st batch we pay 58k per semester (total 8th sem) but it now I think it's upgraded to 65k or more.The faculty members are also highly qualified and along with study they put extra efforts to study smart and crack competative exams like GPAT.You will get various opportunities like attending national conferences and poster presentations in various area to explore your knowledge.
Campus Life
Annual fest name is RONGMON which is given by one of best ex faculty of this college Uddhav sir who is currently posted as principal of Ajmal Pharmaceutical college,Hojai. There are annual sports week also where different games competition are there . Medals are distributed along with certificates. We do cultural rally or street drama also during fest.
Admission
First reason it's near to my hometown . And yes it's the sister institute of GIPS guwahati which is very famous pharmaceutical college in Assam . And I visit the campus before admission also and the fees structure also less that's why I choose the college.
Faculty
Each department have their own faculty of their own specialized subject . My favourite faculty is my mentor. And about exams like there are 3 sessional exams and lastly semester final exams . You have to score 50% in all the exams to pass the course.
