Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum was well designed and structured as already mentioned it was an autonomous college so we dint face much Issues with the curriculum,it was designed accordingly like all main subjects like c and python we had at starting and later we had less important subjects such as database , iot , and etc we had many extra courses from different departments to choose such as stock market from bcom , constitutional law from llb these subjects were all electives which we had and at our 4 and 5 sem we had electives like mobile application development, networking which we had to create by using the strategis learnt in previous sems .my suggestion is the semester could have been a bit long like atleast 6 months since it was autonomous we had only 3 to 2months of time to complete each semester becauuse of each we used to not get much time to prepare propely for practicals sessions and we used to not get much practicals overall the course structure was good .

Fees and Financial Aid

My complete college fees is 3lakhs 15 thousand Per year 1 lakh 5 thousand respectively I dont have any Scholarships , paying the amount in full .. I have exam fees every semester per subject 500 that is 3500 per semester

Campus Life

3.5

We used to have fests every year in the university which was named as ranvita probably during february or march it was the biggest fest ever .when talking about library i could proudly say we had vartities of books to choose among in libraries which provided a lot of important information regarding the subjects and we had the books of the best autors too . I used to borrow books for months and gain a lot of information from it , technology in the classroom was perfect we had scanners used for scanning attendance every period we had smart boards for ppt presentations ,every year we had inter college sports in september where we used to get opportunitiy to show case our talent in sports and used to have lot of interrcollegite fests where we used to get opportunities to show case our skills in which we are good at,we had csp activities which was mandatory that was 30 hours of volunetrring more than 10 clubs in the whole university which used to host different events overall it was a good

Admission

I had a good percent age during my 2puc that was 85 percent age and i was pretty sure i will get into a good reputed university and my dream college was st joseph university i had applied to sju before my finals and i was waiting for interview for 3 months during the period i missed all other college opportunities at the end sjc didnt even give me a opportunitiy to give an interview becauuse i was from a commerce background and stats too i didnt have matha or computers in my 2pu which the reason i wasnt selected even for interview later i applied for kristy Jayanthi college and i had a interview too they clealry told me i can get a bcom degree over there but not bca later i tried every colelge in karnataka but it was too late since admissions were already closed for bca in almost all university and at the final i had to come Cmr university where the university had put in a trust in me and offered me the admission for bca and im proud that i dont have any backloog so far.

Faculty

2.5

The faculties were good during the 1 and 2 semester but later when we were moving towards 4 sem faculties started changing a lot and it effected a lot for us in maintaing a good relation with the faculties as they kept changing they also lagged with proper knowledge in teaching. The faculty i liked is radha maam who was a python teacher she was a good teacher overall and kind toh ,the teacher i hate most is c programming maam she was really strict and used to always be back of me so she is my hatest teacher in the university but luckily she left the college during my 2 year .the teachers are well approach able when ever we needed they used to resolve any queries or issues then and there .The curriculam was also well designed since it was an autonomous college it was well structured ,every sem we had 2 internals assignments 2 and sem send we need to have an average of all internals and assignment to be eligible for sem end ,it was actually tough for most of them to clear subjects .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly choose the course because I heard the college was top in Mangalore and it provide best teaching. Although some were correct and some not. The curriculum the college prepared is nice, but majority were outdated topics and idk it will help the students to get jobs in modern world with modern technologies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had an internal in the technical field, and had previously persued computers in my school life. Teachers are very friendly, open to helping you even outside the college premises. But it depends, sometimes they are rude and follow strict disciplinary actions. Teachers are highly qualified with good enough knowledge. They try to be interactive sometimes. There are term exams everyone month or once in few months and is easy to pass

I am very interested in computer Science That why I am pursuing Bca. Students Ratio In Bca - 35 % girls And 65% boys. Mostly teachers have Master degree And Some Teacher Have PHD degree In computer science. The teaching method of the teachers is decent. Mostly Teachers are teaching in organised way. Labs section are regulary taken by the teachers . In this course there are Semester System so exams are held in every 6 months. If you have a little Bit Knowledge of the subject and have good writing skills then passing in exam is not difficult.
