Likes
- The campus is good , i mean i like it so far. There are so many options for activities, games and other coding related clubs . It certainly gives environment for a student to flourish and develop skills .
- The mess food is decent not as bad as i expected. Quality of mess food varies but the snacks are good comparitively. Most of the teachers are good as they engage with students while covering the topics. Except one professor for me all are good (SCOD)
- Comparing to other universities it is affordable and the cafeteria is also good where you can get your supplements and all others necessities ( lil bit expensive) but the eggs are quite affordable. I also liked the gym of this university .
Dislikes
- The thing i disliked when i came here was that they didn't had volleyball ground prepared to play and it's still not prepared till this day . Dogs run around in hallway and shit on the floor which i found disgusting.
- Too much students in a single section (71) should have been maximum 50 as it create problems for the students sitting at the back since they can't hear the professor.
- There should be more strictness against students forming group creating noises at night ( Too much freedom is also dangerous). There should be different sections for students that really want to study seriously .
Course Curriculum Overview
I used to play a lots of game and i want to make some too that is why i choose there is no influence of curriculum. I don't understand why are we even studying EIA , it's not even related to the branch it's just increasing the pressure on the students. The exam is coming i have no idea about the difficulty. But the exams are quite frequent as our professor told us mid term , final exam all that bullshit .
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall tution fees including exam fees , caution fees etc was 171000 rupees in which 25000 was submitted at the beginning ( note : please be sure to before submitting the amount because it us non refundable) .the hostel fees that i paid was 154000 ( including mess) and the room that i selected was ac room .
Campus Life
All books are available in the library, as of sports it was solely organised by sports club they had to do all hardwork for the freshers cup . Students had to cut there classes just to participate in this event which was something new to me. There are so many clubs to join vast amount of options for students from sports to dancing,coding ,singing clubs, acting.Student council is also there . it didn't affect me because i don't have time for this bullshit.
Admission
One of the main reason for me to choose this college was because it was affordable than the others and it was a good engineering college that is what i heard back then. I actually wanted to go into a iit/ nit colleges but my father forced me to join college as quickly as possible. You can easily get in this judt through your 12th marks .
Faculty
All faculties are approachable , they give answer to all the questions of the students. So far i liked my EM 1 mam , part of it is because i like maths and she also interact with students to see if they have completed the question given to them , the second teacher i liked is IDS teacher , her teaching method is also good . I didn't like the SCOD teacher because he just the front row about any particular topic in a low voice and very quickly, then ask questions from last row XD.
