Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Relevance of this course curricula to its practice is appreciable and hence was the reason for my selection. Real life situations are dealt with and asked well during examinations. Exams are well frequent and are relevant as per the year of the course. Difficulty & frequency increases as per stage of the course.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internship is mandatorily to be done at the teaching hospital, TATA MAIN HOSPITAL, after completion of Final year MBBS Professional examination, part 2. The first batch is to attend internship starting March/April 2025.

Fees and Financial Aid

My Yearwise fee was 14,40,000 for the first 4 installments and is 7,15,000 for the last installment, which includes all academic fee for the year in regular course of action, including examination fee etc. Fee is different for 25 State qouta seats, decided every year by Jharkhand Government guidelines. Total Capacity is 150, of which 125 are AIQ seats. Scholarships are present as per MAHE norms.

Campus Life

3.5

Annual fest is held in the month of September generally, called MANIFEST. Different state level seminars etc are held regularly. Conferences such as ERUDITE are held, which include workshops, etc. Classrooms are well wquipped with ACs, Lecture recording cameras, projectors, etc. to say the least. Wide range of books and journals are present. Online journals and subcriptions are plenty. JRD sports complex/Keenan stadium is accesible for students for sports activities. Several clubs etc are run under the banner of CLC(Cultural & Literary Club)

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is mandatory for non-localites in the first year. Rooms are provided either single or double, AC or Non-AC. At max, 3 students are alloted a flat, 2 for the double room and one for the single, with shared common area, kitchen, washroom & bathroom. Mess food is average. Menu keeps changing month to month. Hostel fee depends on the type of room alloted for, ranging from 1,88,000 to 2,44,000 per annum. PGs etc. are available in the Baridih area

Admission

Admission is as per MCC Counselling. I had applied as per the fee and as per my personal choice for the colleges. I applied to this college because of the renowned university and relatively low course fee. Admission process per se is allocation of the college, post which one needs to report to the college and get documents from aforesaid college.

Faculty

4.5

Rich faculty-to-student ratio, and Teachers are well approachable. I'm sorry but I am not allowed to name faculties. Difficulty of examinations held are tougher than fellow Medical Universities & Medical colleges. Course curricula is relevant as per the course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
