Likes

The infrastrcuture is really adorable of the campus
The Wifi facilities and the academic blocks are good
Environment and campus life is the best here

Dislikes

I did not find anything such as disliking but yes they do not have any transportation within the campus and campus is very big
You have to walk from hostel to your academic blocks which are very far
Shops are also not that nice where you can spend some time except one Food Republic.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is strictly based on the latest guidelines released by the UGC and government. All colleges mostly follow the same curriculum and it includes all techinal and non technical domains which are required in corporate jobs.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. 100% placement record. Minimum Package 300000 LPA and highest package is 5700000 LPA. No student is left unplaced and I can gurantee you about this because from my batch almost everyone is placed till now.

Fees and Financial Aid

The detailed fee structure is 90000 per semester which makes as 180000 per year for 2021-2025 batch for BE CSE branch. You get scholarship based on your entrance exam CUCET score. You may get upto 100% scholarship also.

Campus Life

Overall experience is really good in the campus. I would suggest you to go outside and explore the campus as campus is very big. Go out, make friends have fun because this is the only time you'll cherish in your life.

Admission

I chosed this college beacuse of the fee structure and scholarship provided to me. Moreover placements here are really excellent and outstanding. There is no need to worry because campus is ver secured and employees faculties and securoty is really very supportive.

Faculty members are really tranied and skilled, they also help you in all aspects of your life be it acadmics or personal growth. Faculty members are really supportive in this university. They guide your so sweetly and help you wherever you get stuck.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
