Amity University review

I had applied to manipal university, nmims university and amity University. And I honestly I loved the subjects and the curriculum the best here in amity. Moreover, the course that I was interested in had just started in manipal and nmims university hence I wasn't sure about how the course would turn out and amity on the other hand had this course for over 5-6 years which gave me the confidence in the effectiveness of the course. I got accepted to manipal and because of some technical glitch during my entrance for nmims, I got rejected from there. The college process was pretty simple for this course I just had one interview and some questions then I got my approval I did get for other colleges too but I had already gone ahead with amity so I had to drop the rest but I won't lie the option to take the is has helped me a lot personally so it's good for me where I am right now I see it as a win win for me and nothing as such bad or something ...Read More

The admission process was quite smooth as the batch strength was low. Would be more hectic depending upon the course you take. First you have to give a writing ability test where they test your knowledge and stronghold over the English language. Then you are called for an interview by the respective department where they ask topics from the course, your hobbies and some current affairs question. The eligibility criteria of the course were minimum 60% marks in 12th and having mathematics as a subject in your 12th. You can find the application form through their website amity.edu/mumbai/ , Application fees was around 1000 and application dates were open till August No reservation benefits availed. The only improvement that can be made is that they should not call many people in one go!
