Ragging is prohibited, it's a good act for many students.
Computer science students facility is very good

Course Curriculum Overview

As per me I don't like the curriculum cause a computer science engineering student should spend much of their time in coding and arithmetic progression but here the case is different this curriculum focuses more on theory and less on practical.

Pay to internship is available in this college, if any student want to be an intern college helps the students to get internship but no campus is available. Students pay fees for internship(like the online internship)

Fees and Financial Aid

It's yearly fees is rs 110000(?55000 per semester), rs 1200 per examination fee and for availing bus the maximum amount is 15000 per year(coverage area(Bombay chok to Baripada). Hostel facility is also available and scholarship is available as per odisha state portal.

Campus Life

There are no smart classes but good teachers are present. A good and large library with various book is also available.Sports competition is also held .Every year college celebrate the annual day, the function is not very big and not so small.

Admission

I choose this college because of the financial issue i have, it's cheap and near to my home town as compared to other colleges. I didnot apply for any other college cause it was best for me. The admission process is very simple and easy you just need to apply it in the college via form.

Faculty

For faculty to student ratio it's 7:10. The faculty members have a good relationship with students attending classes. HOD of computer science department is very good. FLAT sir is not good. Every year there are 2 semester exam.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

KIIT:place where students chase their dreams.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester onwards companies visit campus and recruit students for internship. This internship season goes upto entire 7th semester. Many companies like amazon Deloitte cognizant and many other startups visited the campus.highest package was 42lpa and average package for computer science was 9 lpa. Around 70 percent student got placed.i want to get a good job in a good company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

* I had chosen to do mechanical engineering because I had some bond with machines and it's designing and was also aware with the scopes of mechanical engineering. * In real world the curriculum helped me a lot and still it is helpful, currently I'm preparing for position of junior engineer and there it is quite helpful for me. * I don't think any improvement is required in the course curriculum and teaching methods as everything was good at its place and it's also the responsibility of us (students) to know our curriculum thoroughly and give our best. * Exams were conducted at an interval of 6 months and as said earlier exams conducted were moderate level not too difficult or easy and with studies it can be cleared easily

Placement Experience:

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

From 6th semester onwards wards students are eligible for campus placement.it provides 100% placement guaranteed to the students who were eligible and sit for the placement drive. Big tech companies like ,amazon, samsung, Capgemini,minetree,infosis,adani wlvisit the campus. The highest package offered in 52 lpa The average package in KIIT is around 6-8lpa And the lowest package offered in 3 lpa. So overall you will have a nice exposure to tech and industrial space and can grab some decent placements.
