Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have interest in programming and computer applications. The faculty student ratio is approx 1:50 ...there are a good quantity of faculty bt there are a lot of students also. There are mixed teacher.some came only to teach while some inspire students to take part in co-curriculum activities like paper writing and patent filing. There are 2 mid sem exam and then final sem and the level of exam is medium One can crack in one night study.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Placement Experience

They provide a lot of opportunities for students. One can easily get placement if has a little good skillset . They bring at lot of companies every year More than 50-60 percent student get placement easily

Fees and Financial Aid

There is fees of 90K per sem Bt one can easily get 40-50 % scholarship through the entrance exam cucet Scholarship are also availed through boards and jee main exam. There is also facilitates of loan .

Campus Life

They provide sports benefits by conducting a lot of sports events Even some of them are at national level and within other departments or universities. They provide a lot of facilities to sports students

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is good in cu Food is much better than other colleges The prices are affordable as well They maintain hygiene and quality in their mess food Also they provide many other facilities in hostel

Admission

There is an entrance exam cucet through which we can get admission in Chandigarh University with good scholarship. However we can also get admission through board marks with min. 75% percentage.All details of this exam and scholarship are available on their site cuchd.in

Faculty

Some faculty are good and some are not that experienced. The curriculum is also not well maintained. But the examination structure is good for students.one can Easily get good marks bt studying only one day before exam

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
