Greater Noida's only state university

You can not say about this university in one line. This university has the capability to be an internationally recognized university in India but the state politics of Uttar Pradesh and the ignorance of officers has ruined some aspects.

Entrance Exam

The course curriculum is well designed but the execution of some subjects and other activity is poor due to lack of faculty and resources. The university is based on the idea of research and innovation so the whole course structures are designed in such a way that they focused on theoretical knowledge. This has some advantages and disadvantages. This helps you to understand concepts really well but lacks in industrial based knowledge. For exams, the question paper is prepared by their own faculty so whatever they teach is the content of the paper so exams are not to worry about.

Placement is poor. The placement cell is really weak. Again the same weakness of being a govt university. There is no responsibility for taking placement cells. They hardly call any company for recruitment and company hardly show any interest

Two events:sauryautsav { sports fest} and abhivynjana { cultural fest}. Infrastructure is awesome so the fest. You can enjoy your life at the campus for sure. Sauryautsav is conducted in February and abhivynjana in November.

At my time tuition fee was 84000 per year for engineering and 60000 as hostel fee. The fee has increased. For the latest, u have to go to the detail. As compared to the other institutions in the greater Noida the fee is not that high but as a govt organization, it is more than average.

State govt scholarship is available for the student. There is no other scholarship facility available. The loan is easily available due to govt university trademark. I get state govt scholarship to continue for 4 years.

Labs are satisfactory. The sports facility is the best in class. There is a cricket stadium, a football stadium, a hockey stadium and a state of the art indoor stadium. There is 8 auditorium with one central auditorium with a capacity of 2000. University is full of opportunities for extracurricular activities.

The hostel facility is available. This is the part you enjoy in this university the most. Hostel life is awesome. There are many sports facilities and infrastructure of the hostel is also cool. There are really cool stadiums.

University has established es in 2002 and the first course of engineering started in 2010 so there is not such a strong network of alumni. Some seniors are out there but and they are also just pass outs so I would not say that any help is available from alumni side

Permanent faculty is really good but it is a state govt university and recruitment is always under crisis os there is a lack of permanent faculty. The guest faculty is average. Most of the permanent faculty are Ph.D. From IITs.
