Likes

There is a locker system available for students.
Very great faculty and really helpful ones.
Lectures are in morning hours so the day is free.

Dislikes

Major issue with the ac of the college .
Not a good cafeteria, the food there is soggy.
There is no campus in the college, and no free space.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall there are 2 exams, for the first year. Its quite easy but the main task is doing assignments and juries and presentations. There is 1 year of university paper rest all is handeled by the college.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year fee is 1.40 lakh and then it keeps on decreasing by 5-10 thousand as you pass a grade. There are reservations for minorities such as obc, sc, st for which fees start from 25 thousand - 1lakh .

Campus Life

The infrastructure in aditya college is really good, everything is neat and clean, except for the ac wich keeps on shutting down. There are all the clubs present such as cultural, sports, graphic, etc.

Admission

The main motive to join this college was the fact that its nearby and it saves tons of time and money on travelling. To add on to that we also have a great bunch of faculty in here. They also had a simple admission process

The relationship we share witb our beloved and dear faculties is very precious and feels like family. Even though there are ups and downs in the college, the faculty never acts wrong with the students. There is a budget issue with the college as it always finds cheap ways to celebrate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
