- The department of cimputer science and the faculty
- The greenery in the campus , the campus is full of trees whch maintaain a god environment.
- The sports facilty although they are not at par as compared to other NITs.
Dislikes
- The foood in the mess is prettty very bad they dont even give non veg to first year.
- As it is a government colege so the development work is quite slow.
- Quite strict rules regarding rules violation , well this can be good and bad depending upon point of view.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum I would rate 8/10 definitely , The faculties are reallyvery good they are quite heplul because the help eveery single student with their doubts . And always foucs on t he updated things
Internships Opportunities
Samsung , Amazon , Asan Paints, Infosys, Cognizant, intel , hsbc , pidilte , saint goban, QUALCOM, NVIDIA, Schneider electric, AAKASH,, Glenmark, All of them visited the campus in 2024 and the hiighets package offered was around 52 lpa offered by Amazon
Placement Experience
The placemnets here goood , I heard that around 32 students also got PPO , the average ackage of CSE was arounf 15.6 LPA nad median was arounf 12 LPA ,. Comparison to other NITs it is not at par they have ususually 18-20 lpa avg package
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admitted through jee with an AIR of 7001 and percentil of 99.56 . Year wise fees is arounf 1.69 lakhs. The scholarships provided by the college are divided in many categores like the sc/st candidates gets the full fee remmision and the candiates having less tan 1 lakh family income have a full remmsion as well candidate have bet 1-5 lakhs hve a remission of 2/3rd of total fees.
Campus Life
The campus life here is good , the sports facilty are very quite good, but the mainthings is events happening en every 10-15 days regarding festivals and fests. Some of the fests and festives are kashish - the fresshers part, sparsh - annual fest.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilty is not that goood , the hostel fees is low as compared to other colleges . The food in mess here is quite bland they make the same dishes for 4-5 times . Overall the messecpeirnce is not good/
Admission
I would have chosen IITs over this college as I was also getting them but not CSE in them so took this , But i do think now that college>>branch so taking IIT with lower branch over NIT with CSE is better
Faculty
Faculty memebers are quite very as it is the CSE department so they have the best faculties of them all. The HOD , tteachngs assistant and proffs all of threr are very good and helpful. The other departments are also quite good but this college is especiallly famou for it s mechanical,civil and chemical engineering
