Positive thing is that college has good infrastructure but not so good water facilities. And the placement is also not so good for the mechanical branch as they go for calling more institute that charges lakhs rather than calling the companies.

Course Curriculum Overview
I have taken mechanical engineering as I'm more interested in this field and there are 8 semesters through 4 years of your course and at every semester there is an exam conducted by the vtu. And after 45 days of completion of exams results are obtained.
Internships Opportunities
Placements are provided by the college and some companies approach to hire freshers to their company. But the college doesn't provide internship instead we need to go in search of the completion of our internship program.
College Events
Every year in the odd semester there will be an intra college event called Surabhi, and in the odd semester there will our college fest is known as Sambhram which will be held for two days and there will be sports day held during even semester end or if not at the beginning of the odd semester.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure in the Shree Devi Institute of technology is very much feasible when it is compared to any other colleges as the cet fees are the same but on the other hand, when compared to management fees it is very much less than the other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
As college doesn't offer any types of scholarships or any loans instead I have taken the loan from other private organizations called Codp, Mangalore and I have taken a loan of rs100000. And I have a minority scholarship.
Campus Life
As of now, I'm not involved in any kind of extracurricular activities or sports but before joining engineering I used to play football in college team and shuttle badminton. But now in my course of the final year of studies, I'm working on the project.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni networks are very helpful but unfortunately, our college doesn't help us to get know about alumni association but senior students who have already passed out of the college they sometimes let us know about some courses that will help us to get into some organization easily.
Admission
I obtained my admission under management seat, as soon as I Completed my cet exam I had approached the college authority for the admission and I got a seat at CET fees. But the seat is considered under the management seat.
Faculty
Faculty of the college is good and experienced, but some faculties are not so good i.e; they are not so good in explaining the concepts to students they make ppts and go on explaining the ppt rather than explaining the topics.
