Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose this course due to the art side of this and i got inspired by my father as well Dentistry is a very prestigious and dignified profession in the world and it's very demanding in developed countries I would like to introduce the business aide of dentistry into my course on like how to set up the start up clinic amd how to charge to the patients And to reduce the course of medical subjects and increase the clinicals Our exams occur 4 times in a year they are really tough and tiring requires sleepless nights and our blood , sweat and tears

Internships Opportunities

2

In medical field there is not system of placement our college provide us with internship and withour stipend The patient flow is good so we have to do alot of wokr in internship after the insternshio we generally join a clinic of senior dentist for shadowing or we prepare for our masters both if then simultaneously is quite impossible During internship we have to complete with the attendance and our quota we go to camps and we complete quota in every dept of dentistry

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

My course name is BDS ,im I'm currently in 3 year MY per year fees is 2.7 lakh I paid 2.7 lakh in my first year, second year and third year and that doesn't include hostel fee It's just the tution fee Besides my hostel fees is rs110,000/- every year My admission fees was rs50,000/- Each year for the final exams we have to pay rs15k/-, rs20k/- rs25k/- and rs30k/- for 1,2,3and 4 year respectively Our college provide scholarships only to those students whose parents income is below 1L /year The fee structure of my friends is same their is no category system cause my college is private And I'll be paying rs2.7 L/- for my 4 year + hostel fees as well

Campus Life

2.5

Our college fest happens in feb and the respective festivals are also celebrated specifically the janmashtami and deepawali these functions generally happens in August- October or nov Our college library provides us with almost every book we need to study for dentistry Our college is now on under construction so we don't have a classroom alloted for now though we are currently studying at a library which has a big smart tv for ppt During fests we have a lot of sports and painting and extra curriculum activities in our college which provide student to student interaction and we enjoy it agter the fest we typically have a dj night We currently have a group chat of our batchmates where we interact and discuss and it's fun

Admission

I applied to Chandra dental college and Sardar patel dental college and i got accepted in both of these I chose Rama dental college due to the distance and the patient flow is really good and it was near my home No I didn't get rejection from any college i applied toi didn't apply to some of the colleges either I didn't like the patient flow or the distance from my home kr the environment and facilities To enter into BDS one must be 12 paased with PCB then after 12 they will have to crack NEET which is pretty tough and according to marks and ranks based in the category one get the college alloted The cutoff of neet is generally 600-625 for BDS government college but 130-150 for private colleges To get admission in college after the neet result we go through counselling and fe devit procession and we need certain documents

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is 15:100, faculties of the college is good and they interact with the students really well Me snd my friends like Dr. Manoj sir , we like and respect him as a teacher because he teaches well and he never do partiality with the students , our college best facilities is in dept. of OMDR,dept. of periodontics, dept. of prosthodontics Their are no one faculty that we don't like we respect and like every teacher of our college We have total 4 exams in a year 3of them are internals and1 is the final proffessional exam which is really tough and tiring although internals are chill

Other Applied Colleges

Chandra Dental College & Hospital | BDS

The pratient flow of the college was less as compared to my current college

Placement Experience:

Dentistry is not a semester based placement programme. After BDS, students can be employed in the private dental clinic of ITS itself, or they can secure jobs from big hospital names like Fortis, Clove Dental Clinics, Max and Apollo. • The average package of students per month has been 3 lakh rupees. My plans after the degree are to get a campus placement, and practise for some time. During this time i would be earning good money and focusing on my NEET MDS preparation at the same time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I joined dentistry so that I can open my own clinic and not work under someone else . But this college does not prepare you for real world applications. Most of the students join pvt clinic to learn clinical work . There will be no improvement unless the no. Of patients are increased in clg . This college has OPD of around 20-40 patients per day which is very low for a dental college.

From 5th year the students are ready for becoming a full-fledged doctor, Our college promises no placements, You are the owner of your own boat, If you know about day to day vacancies you can also apply for JR ship in any government hospital provided if you are lucky otherwise you can work in a private clinic or start your own clinic while most of the students opt for Masters. Talking about me My plan is to do masters in oral surgery.
