Admission

I went through MHTCET examination and had admission through Cap rounds. Cutoff at my time was 79 percentile for entc branch. I was having chance at YCCE Nagpur but KKWIEER belongs to savitribai phule pune university which is best university to study in Maharashtra. The college is autonomous and I wanted to get into such college. Kkw has good placement ratio and overall seems good. The campus is beautiful. Admission is process is simplified if you are doing through cap round just need to take all documents with you and had to pay complete fees at one time there are no installments

Faculty

4

There are 5 chapters of each subject. Mostly we have 5 subjects in each term but it can be 6 sometimes. Teaching quality is really good and most of the times the faculty members are so supportive. In 1st year there is no practical examination that starts from second year. Insem is conducted on first two chapter each paper being of 30 marks. Later during end semister exam practicals are conducted and theory papers are of 50 marks each. Overall most of the faculty members are having doctorate in there respective streams or are post graduate from most prestigious colleges. Some faculty members are not that supportive are can bee pain to handle. Better keep distance from them. Each student is provided with mentor faculty so that they can personally solve your problems regarding college or when you need guidance. Exams are basically easy to moderate that differs on preparation levels most of the students can pass the exam. 8-10 student sometimes fails to clear particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
