Course Curriculum Overview

4

I would like to rate the course curriculum 8/10 Many programs especially in management and computer science , are designed in collaboration with industry partners . It emphasises on the project- based learning , internships , and industry visits . Students can choose from various specialisations and electives. Curriculum includes soft skills , communication, and personality development.

Fees and Financial Aid

Kristu Jayanti's college yearly fees range from 1.9 lakhs to 9.1 lakhs, depending on the the course . Some popular courses and it's fees are mentioned below : BBA : ?1.1 to ?1.3 lakhs per year BCA : ? 1.1 to ?1.5 lakhs per year MBA : ? 1.16 lakhs to ? 4.5 lakhs BSc : ? 60,000 to ? 95000 per year MSc : ? 65,000 to ? 1.2 lakhs per year As for the scholarships , KJC offers several options such as Merit scholarships, Jayantian talent scholarships for co- curricular activities, Jayantian Achievement scholarships (for academic excellence) and Jayantian upliftment Scholarships for economically and socially disadvantaged students . Additionally, the college also provides government scholarships for Karnataka students through the SSP portal and for all Indian national students through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP).

Campus Life

3.5

The college is fun . The people are really sweet and kind . The seniors are also really kind and supportive. There are many clubs based on our interests . There are total 4 cafeterias around the college and the area is quite big where we all sit and eat and enjoy . The cafeteria is one of the most happening place of the college . The food is also amazing out there .

Hostel Facilities

1

To be honest the hostel is really bad and good at the same time . For the girls hostel , we aren't allowed to wear shorts above our knees and come out of our room , if we get caught then we are supposed to pay extra . Meanwhile the food is pretty good but the timing is really short it's From 7:30 to 8 in the morning for the breakfast. I registered from the official college website and the fees is really expensive according to the condition of the hostel .

Admission

The Campus is green , clean , has well equipped labs and libraries . The faculty members are highly educated , qualified and experienced. Overall the environment is pretty save for the girls . The college is strictly against ragging or any forms of bullying. It is a great college and will get a great exposure as the students are from different backgrounds and cultures . It has a decent placement statistics , especially in commerce and management . The admission process was quite simple , we had to first register from the official website and the registration fee was ?800 . Then we got an email stating about the interview and document verification. The date for the both was mentioned on it and had to attend this meeting via a zoom meeting. In the document verification round we were asked to submit our class 10th and 12th result along with our 11th result sheet . After that we had a personal interview or the counselling session . It was a merit based selection and other criterias

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was clear about choosing this stream as after 12th mind was fixed for preparing UPSC-CSE. So curriculum i had was exactly same which u needed!. Geography is very interesting subject and it further broadened my knowledge after i choosed the subject. We needed to write exam twice a year as many of us know it was a semester based. Question papers were of moderate difficulty and competent enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The idea of doing a triple major in one degree is what motivated me to choose this course. English, Political Science and History are interlinked in many ways that we know. Also, the course was primarily curated to help aspiring students for the Public Service Examinations, UPSC and SSC. The course really does an amazing job is getting the students ready for competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements are given in our college for a lot of departments. A senior of ours got placed into Reuters with a very high placement. In the last year, that is the 4th year, you get eligible for campus placement. After I get my degree in History, I will pursue my master's in history from Christ University only or from a foreign college belonging to the Ivy league. After that, I will pursue my PhD in history and also give the Civil Services Examination.

Placement Experience:

For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.
