infrastructure and club and social aspects all are ok ok but only the thing i disliked is too much smoking of students even in washroom and all that's a serious matter and other all things are nice nd good

hostel of the college is very nice and well maintained and there are no problmes in the hostel but sometimes the food is very bad and all other facilities are good as a college can provide like cleaning house keeping laundary etc

Architecture life in WUD

Placement Experience:

From the 9th & 10th semesters, people get eligible for Placement. Big Architecture firms of Delhi come and hire us. Not at all a good package but else one has to file a report and show it to the jury of the final year. Every student gets placed. My plan is to study more after degree.

Placement Experience:

Since it is a design college, there are no campus placements. U have to make ur own contacts to approach the firms and companies to get placed. Good point is that the faculties are highly involved in the market, so they help with contacts.

Remarks:

Remarks: Essentially every Indian Parent's Dream College. Why? The following reasons: Basically a confinement area for college students where the only time you can leave the college without skipping classes is during the 6 PM - 9:30 PM time bracket, which much lesser for girls at 6 PM to 7:30 PM. No Non Vegetarian food entertained. Never. No short Dresses or any inappropriate dressing allowed for either genders. Strict attendance rules and substance/drinking/smoking control. Positive Remarks: All in all makes sense if you want your academics to be great and it serves the purpose. The faculty is good.

Admission:

I got admission on the basis of data and jee score. I came in June for the admissions and was given a round of the campus and hostel the campus is clean and very hygienic and people are helpful and teachers are motivating they keep pushing us to achieve our goals which I love about this college

Remarks:

On 23rd January, students of School of Architecture and Planning (SoAP) conducted their third SoAP day wherein the students of all three years (2014-2016 batch) exhibited their work. The event was inaugurated by our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. D.K. Jha Sir. Deans, faculty members and students from all the Schools of the University attended the event. A soap carving competition was also organized for the students where in Dheeraj and Ishan of 2nd Year won the first and second prize respectively. The event was a great success and everyone appreciated and encouraged the students for their commendable work.

I applied to du , college of art ofc but didn't get admission into that , quite bummed I was but we'll I think it happened for the best we all know how serious the teachers there are and the infrastructure (bathrooms, canteen) it's yuckk then I applied in amity I didn't even have to give a test there I was directly given admission with scholarship for the first sem because of my 12th boards marks but I chose to go for sushant coz tbh I just had a bad feeling amity , I just had an image that the students I'd find might not be as serious or the staff it just all felt very awkward and not safe ALSO the course was cheaper in sushant and yes I got the scholarship for the first sem here too , so I chose this ....Read More
