Course Curriculum Overview

4

I like English subject so I took this course. English subject helps us to communicate with the outside world. Many class tests are also taken during the two semester exams. If you study regularly, you can easily clear the semester exams

Fees and Financial Aid

About 2000 rupees were spent annually. 1000 rupees per month was spent on tuition fees. There is no lab requirement in our subject so we are not charged any other fees or library fees. Swami Vivekananda Scholarship is available for students. A minimum of 60 percent marks is required for this scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

Apart from the cultural events, there are social events in the college. Our college library is big enough and many books are available. We also have the facility of using computers in the college library. An annual sports competition is organized in the college grounds every year.

Admission

This college has quite a good reputation near us. Moreover, this college is very close to the railway station making it very convenient to travel. Admission to this college is based on the marks in the secondary examination. A minimum of 70 percent marks is very good.

Faculty

3.5

There are enough teachers for the students. The relationship between students and teachers is very good. I liked my faculty very much because some of our teachers were very helpful. We have two semester exams in a year Exams are tough enough. If you get 30 percent marks then you can pass the next semester

Placement Experience:

Placements at VBU especially for courses like BA IN JAPANESE are limited. Most students do not receive offers through campus recruitment. However, the course opens up oppurtunities in fields like translation, interpretation and working with Japanese Companies especially for those who clear JLPT N2 or N1. After completing my bachelor's I plan to pursue an MBA as combining language skills with management education offers a strong edge in the global job market.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have always wanted to persue English as a career. I love studying English but not a big fan of the new curriculum by NEP that includes a lot pf irrelevant papers. The semesters are not consistent. Odd semesters usually have a lot of time like 6-8 months but even semesters barely consist of 2-3 months.

Also, our college has different facilities. There is a mess for the students. There is a library for the students so that they do not have any difficulty in studying. Which is very useful for us.

The placement of BA Hons linguistics in Aligarh Muslim University is too good. It has its own training and placement office to help students get college placement and make their life successful. The salary during campus differs depending upon student and his/her skills. However overall salary offered here is satisfactory.
