Course Curriculum Overview

5

There is good scope in this field because of which I choose this course..I can go abroad and work ..and I am also planning to do masters from this college only ..so that I will get more opportunities in future

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship is provided in our college itself..we get the opportunity to work in our own hospital that is kmc Manipal with 1800 stipend which is comparatively low..and this is something we would like to change in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise payment - 279000. This the the total fees including tution fee, caution deposit etc My batchmate also have the same fees except some who are now paying around 1 lakh because they are having some scholarship because they are from the same state ( Karnataka)

Campus Life

5

We have many clubs here like one for dance, song, nature club, fashion club, drama club etc.. Here every class is smart class room with good technologies. Sports and extracurricular activities we have here .we can participate in many events

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is good. Room is very good.. except the bathroom which most of the time is not so cleaned.expect that everything is good in hostel . We also have many caretakers to take care of us and who are always available for us

Admission

Here we have good infrastructure and they provide a good practical knowledge where as in other colleges practical knowledge is less given to the students..they are normally not allowed to go to hospital and work ..but in my college they allow us to do so. Eligibility exam is MET

Faculty

5

1 faculty for 10 students is the ratio, and our faculties are all very good..they teaches veru well..they support us in every aspects. My favourite faculties are Manjoosha mam, Jyothi mam, Nisha mam , Swathi mam, Vidya mam etc.i like them because they teaches the concepts very well and they are also very friendly. Exams are somewhat tough..in our class almost everyone clears expect 1 or 2.

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50 -60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

Placement Experience:

• Only the last semester students are eligible for campus placements if any approach us. • No companies visit our campus of Interiors till I've seen. • You get a list of companies with openings from the college and you can apply on the same. • As mentioned when the college holds a program for the final years companies might choose you there based on your work.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
