Course Curriculum Overview

4

I always wanted to take up dentistry because of how much it teaches us with art and science It gives us a broad idea on how to face any issues in the outside world and prepares us from day one to be a better dentist out there There are no such improvements required overall they do a brilliant job Eveything has been scheduled very perfectly and gives us enough time to get prepared for ours exam

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You get allotted by particular department every 3 months, we have good number of patients visiting our college so we get wide opportunities to do different treatments to patients, overall the internship is a hectic year but you get to learn so much and it helps us build up our carrier

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 20 lakhs INR for management seat in the year 2023, and this year it has increased by 2%. My course duration is 5 years with 1year of internship so my fee is 5 lakh every year for duration of 4 years, if you have secured 80% and above in your PCB in 12th grade then you get a concession of 5 lakh INR, it is merit come basis and their are no scholarship or aids provided by the college.

Campus Life

4.5

We have a huge library where in you get all kinds of books, you name it and you have it We have good gym, badminton court, tennis court, basketball court, football ground and many more opertuinities for the students to utilise, also every year we will have an annual sports meet and inter college and inter university competition We also have cultural fests, cook for a cause and many other cultural feats taking place every year

Admission

Yenepoya was always my priority but I had put AB Shetty as my second priority as well but did not get in there because my score was less, I really like this college since my sister also studied and I wanted to join this college from a long time so hence I choose it without any second thought when I got the offer letter You have to pass your 12th grade and your NEET exam with qualifying marks, according to MCC counselling you will have to select the college and wait for their approval

Faculty

4

The teachers are very friendly and help you when ever you have any issues, we do not hesitate to approach them cause they are very open minded and help us with in clearing all our doubts, the academic calendar will be scheduled and followed very strictly. The best faculties I have liked until now is Dr Avadani sir from the department of Anatomy he was the best teacher we could ask for teaching us anatomy The other best teacher was Dr. Sudhindra sir from the department of dental anatomy and histology, he makes sure we are very accurate in grasping what he is trying to teach us We have 3 sensational exams and 1 university final exam. 99% of the students pass only 1% tend to fail

Other Applied Colleges

A B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences - [ABSMIDS] | Bachelor of Dental Science [BDS]

Because I did not get the seat since my ranking was low

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is on par with other colleges n the college is constantly trying to improve it which is a gr8 thing!! But one thing which would do wonders is bringing latest dental tech into the curriculum which rarely 1-2 colleges do in India n I would love for our college to bring in this change!! Some dental materials r so old n not used anymore , but still they r in curriculum so...they can even change that!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first three years have a combination of medical and dental subjects and fourth year has only dental subjects. Studying medical subjects like anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medicine, general surgery helps us gain in depth knowledge of human body. Before entering clinics we have mannequins and typhodonts on which we practice procedures which equips us to treat patients. Internal assessments are conducted every 3 months and final exam is conducted by the university every year. The difficulty level of exams is moderate
