Likes

You have to study yourself, no timely assignment submission, no timely practical submission.

Dislikes

Faculty skills were not upto mark, not interested to teach, not have technical skills.
Top floor of college building was used as hostel, rooms with 20-30 students sleeping in one room.
Mess food was very bad, we have to go outside to eat. No sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is prepared by PTU it's uniform throughout the PTU college so no need to worry about syllabus. Just keep in mind you have to do it yourself. College assistance is negligible. They took hafte fines only

40 k per semester fees College fees is bargain baised Some joined at 30 k per semester some at 45 k per semester. Admission here are reference based. Seniors to get benifits in terms of money and internal assessment brings addmissions.

Campus Life

One fresher party and one sports meet that were functions I attended during my tenure. Library have lesser versons of books. Library shelves are locked. So to read you have to issue it. You will be isolated from outside world it's that much remote location.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms full of moisture. One almirah will be provided 4 person in one room in new hostel building 20 -30 person in one hall in old hostel. Mess food is worst I have ever eaten. Only dried peas and potatoes for weeks in repeated schedule

Admission

I dropped my Haryana college seat by my fault. During PTU counseling I was left with last two college options in Punjab and I opted for this one, as my last college junior convenced me to join this college with him.

This college is not for you if you wants to become true engineer. You can't get skills here. Everything you have to gain is by yourself. They don't hire good faculty. As good faculty need to pay good compensation. It is situated in remote area of Punjab.

Placement Experience:

Average placements for the college. As for the good stduents and competitive students companies r coming and they get internships and jobs . Companies like Deloitte, Adobe , Playsimple. Scalar AI labs , LG etc .Good Stsrtup and well knowed companies gave placements .

Life at Chandigarh University A CSE Student

Placement Experience:

As a BE Computer Science student at Chandigarh University, placements are decent but depend a lot on individual skills. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and most of the placement process happens in the 7th and 8th semesters. Many companies visit the campus every year like Microsoft, Amazon, Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and some startups as well. There are a good number of offers made, especially from mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The highest package claimed by the university goes very high, even above 40 LPA, but those are for a very small number of students. Realistically, the average package for CSE students is around 5 to 7 LPA. Mass recruiters usually offer packages between 3 to 5 LPA. Around 70 to 80 percent of students get placed if they are consistent with coding and preparation. Those who depend only on college studies may find it harder due to high competition. The university also provides training for aptitude, coding tests and interviews which helps in preparation. After completing my degree, my plan is to get placed in a good product based company. At the same time, I am also focusing on improving my coding skills and working on projects so that I can aim for better opportunities or even higher studies if needed.

Yes my engineering college provide placement to students many companies visited this year as intern for third year student like visa, samsungand many more .one has to be competitive enough for scoring and clearing all the round and to get internship as well as placement.

Internships at LPU

Placement Experience:

I exactly don't know but after 4 th or 5 th students are eligible for internship and placements. Generally in 7th semester 90 percent students grab their internship. Many companies visit on campus placement like Capgemini, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft and many more. Highest package offered is 64 LPA by Microsoft and lowest was 4 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed by 8th semister. I also want to go to a MAANG company after getting my degree.

From sixth semester onwards the students become eligible for college placement. Companies such as Tcs, corizo, wipro visit for placements , highest packages reach around 1 cr and average is about 10 to 15 lac for students with good scores

Placement here are really worse because too much of crowd so yea rarely 10 students get placement out of 100 I am thinking to leave this uni and move to Germany. 10% student get placed. No plans really I am thinking to move Germany

Course Curriculum Overview:

1) I want to go in construction industry so i chose this field. 2) Currently our college curriculum is updated so its relevant i will say around 70 to 80% . 3) For improvement Faculties should be brought from all over india as professors here are only concentrated from ludhiana itself. and labs are very old it should be upgraded. 5) In a semester there are 2 monthly exams and one end semester exam. 6) As far as difficuly level of exam is concerned it is not much difficult if someone solved PYQ thoroughly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult
