My brother is an orthodontist , it made me choose it Dentist has an good future and good scope The neet exam should become free from the corrupted mind people so that good doctors will be formed The exam difficulty is moderate but the pressure will be there for students

The internship program will be compulsory for the dental students for those who completed their final exams The internship duration is 10-12 months After the internship the student will be provided with graduation certificate and will be known as Doctor

The fees per year for bds degree is 3 lakh 75 thousand Bus fees is 55 thousand Hostel fees is 90 thousand per year including food and stay Books will be included in college fees Scholarship amount is 45 thousand , it depends on students

For freshere they provide freshers party and other festivals will be held every month The library in the college is quite excellent for dental aspects The smart board with ppt will be played during the lecture An inbuilt turf present with joint with vels school and huge ground present for outdoor activity Student's will be elected each year for good activity in college

I really wanted to join srm ramapuram dental college, but due to some changes i applied in medical counselling through my neet marks I applied for chettinad dental college but fees they demanded were too high So finally with reference of brother i got into sri venkateswara dental college

Faculty

Faculty to students relationship is very impressive and they help in all the ways Dr. M.R srinuvasan (endodontist) is very much well known dentist in chennai Sujatha , for being too good Three terminals exam are there and finnaly university exam

My Honest Review of College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum in the first year is quite good and gives a strong base . Subjects like anatomy, physiology and biochemistry are detailed and help us understand the basics needed for later years . Curriculum helps us to improve skills through labs and dissection . Exams happens regularly- we have internal assessments every months , class tests, slip tests, practicals and university exam. The frequency is fine , but the difficulty depends on the preparation . The one year compulsory internship with stipend is also very helpful in moulding us as a great dentist . Overall , the curriculum does a great job in laying down the foundation . Because of the high patient flow our hand skills will also become improve. So it helps in professional growth .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I specifically wanted to be a dentist as there were no dentists in my family. The curriculum does educate you on patient communication, ability to handle patients well and critical thinking skills such as bls training and high tense situations. There can be more hands on training and patient prorograms and camps. Exams are held once in every year and difficulty is mild to moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just always like art and biology! Dentistry was one field that included art and biology at the same time! This is what influenced me to choose this course! The college prepares you the the NEET MDS exam that is what is the NEXT exam I've talked about. And as dentists we become very precised and and excellent with out hands skills and digital designing better than students of other colleges. I don't think I have anything to say for that where they should improve..I like they're style. The NEXT exams get completed within 1 week or 2 and the University exams gets over by a month

In my college the faculty are superb they teaching skill are good and student ratio are bit high in my college all my faculty are MD graduate. My final exam was once in a year and it was moderate to pass if we study regularly it was very easy to get pass marks.
