Sinhgad Law College is awesome

Being from Pune, Pune was the place where I always wanted to study. Yes, there are no NLUs here but for law, Sinhgad is the best institute in Pune. The only problem is that we have to search for internships on our own as college don't help with that.

Placements to be honest are neglible as law firms don't approach our college but some corporates too. From Bajaj Auro to all the auto and auto component industries of Pune have chosen our college for their legal team. My plan is to work in the corporate after my studies as currently i am in my 3rd year and by final year will be eligible to try my luck for placements.

Fees is very cheap at Sinhgad Law College as it is just 32-33k every year. For reserved category students is one fourth of this like SC/ST students who are my class mates pay just 8-10k a year. Yes, scholarship from merit to state sponsored scholarships are available in numbers and if one is edible for that, he can become a lawyer from our college by spending less than a lakh for entire five years.

Sinhgad Carnival is the biggest fest that we have at our campus and Sinhgad Karnatak is the second biggest event. There are other departments at the campus who told have their events so our auditorium is occupied almost daily. Both boys and girls hostels are inside the campus and therefore outsiders too have an easy time at Sinhgadaw College.

I applied for ILS LAW COLLEGE PUNE but couldn't make it as it's a marquee college. Symbiosis Law School was on my mind but that's too expensive for my liking, hence Sinhgad Law College became my automatic choice. CLAT score is considered as there are no direct admissions here. For general category rank upto 10-15k are accepted and it is negotiable for SC/ST students.

Just 120 students are accepted every year and they are divided in 2 sections. So for 120 students in all, there are 15 faculties. Means 1 faculty per 8 students and now this ratio is arguably the best as I don't think one can even dream to have such a ratio. There are many outsiders in our college but faculties have shown no biasednwss against anyone and that's the best part as they treat every one not just equal but right as well.
