What Students Say?
Likes
- I liked the diversity in college. As the students of Sharda University are from literally every state of India and Many many International students are here.
- I liked the Living and Accomodation at Sharda University. It has a beautiful lush green campus. And when you take a walk, you will actually feel refreshed.
Dislikes
- The attendence issue i disliked the most. The University strictly follows 75 percent attendence criteria to sit in the exams otherwise the student will not be allowed to sit in the exams.
- The work life balance is low. Too many classes are held and some of them are of no use. So, Matter of concern.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Syllabus of the courses is well defined. The curriculum of course is good. It provides the many opportunities and prepare the students for real world applications. It also boost the students' overall positive mentality. Teaching methods are good that help the students to overcome academic challenges. Exams are good and mostly comply with the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very less. You have to find the internship on your own based on your skills most of the time. You are responsible for your project works but the faculty supports your work.
Placement Experience
The Placements of Sharda are good. The Highest package is 1 Cr. Per Annum and there are many big startups. 600+ companies have visited the campus for placements, 150+ MNCs, more than 50 CMM level 5 companies, etc. Students are eligible from maybe 7th semester to sit for placements but can go for internships from any semester and can get pre placement offer. More than 65% students are placed.

Campus Life
There are many festivals like Freshers Party, Annual Fest Chorus, many tech fests and cultural fests. There is a wide range of books and journals available in the central library. Classrooms are well facilitated like LEDs, Fans, ACs, Smartboards, Projectors are well working. Students have the opportunities to join the extracurriculars, clubs, social groups and societies.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels of the campus are very well cleaned and Hygienic. The structure is very good. The Mess is also well cleaned and hygienic. The food quality is very very good and they also provides special meals on festivals, religious occasions, etc. Hostels are quite affordable and you will get every type of accomodation here.
Admission
I chose this college because of its global reach and truly global institution. It is the best institute among other because you will not find any institution which has so much diversity and contains students from 65+ countries. The college effectively follows NEP which help many students to get better. I applied to many colleges at got selected like NIET, GL Bajaj, ABES Ghaziabad, AMU Aligarh, etc. But I chose Sharda University. The Environment is very effective, coding culture is very good, festivals are awesome and overall experience is good. So, It is the best institution among Tier 3 colleges.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:30. A class contains max 60 students and two faculties are assigned for 30 students. Many of the faculties are very friendly, engaging and approachable. Faculties are well experienced. Some of the best faculties I Have known are: Dr. Archana Chauhan, Dr. Shaheen Naaz, Dr. Pushpendra Kumar Rajput, Dr. Gaurav Raj, Dr. Subarata Shahana, Dr. Ashish Chakraverty, etc. The Exams are held in form of Mid semester And End Semester form per semester. The semester is of very less duration. So there is so much pressure on students.
