The curriculum of the course is provided by Visvesvaraya Technological University and the curriculum starts with basic fundamentals of science like physics chemistry and maths which provides a good base for the next coming subject in the upcoming semesters and the approach towards the course is linear and teaching level helps the students to grasp the fundamentals better and better prepared for the next assessments.

The internship offered to students are mainly from the Institution the college is administered to i.e Rajarajeshwari Group of institutions where they provide decent internship opportunities for students starting from 5th semester. The stipend varies for every course every year.

There are som internship opportunities for students from biomedical engineering but nothing for other courses. The placements start from 7th sem onwards. Most of them get placed and some of them get international scholarships for further studies.

Admission

I have applied to BMS College of Engineering but due to lack seats and admission criteria I couldn't proceed. My decision of choosing ACS College of Engineering was solely for the purpose of acquiring biomedical engineering degree and necessary knowledge in the particular field. ACS College of Engineering was the best way for me to get on to my journey of becoming a biomedical engineering and the facilities and faculties have give me a smooth approach towards my goal. The eligibility criteria to get into the college is to have 60% in Physics Chemistry Maths from 12th standard for management seat and the rankings for admission through KCET and COMED-K varies every year.

Faculty

4

Faculties of each engineering department are different in opinion when it comes to the relationship with students. Some faculties like biomedical engineering are very cooperative and helpful towards their students in every aspect where else some faculties are not much bothered to the students matters whether studies or anything else.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
