The college provides 100 minutes lectures which are a very adaptive learning experience for the students and teachers. It is a very interactive session where the doubts of Students are cleared. The teachers are very helpful and approachable. The negative thing about college is probably the place where it is located which makes the commute a big problem sometimes. Also, the over strictly nature of the teachers and staff makes life difficult sometimes.

JEE MAINS

It is very enriching and very informative and the faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful. The curriculum is very broad and lets us learn on things of mechanical engineering in various sectors such as Fluid Dynamics, Machines and Mechanisms, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering and lot more.

It doesn't have an internship of its own but it does bring a lot of companies and collaborate with other institutions to provide extensive learning programs, training programs and internships. These usually take place during the summer vacations and a lot of off campus drives for the final year students.

Placements are the most advantageous arena of this institution. It brings a lot of companies from all sectors(IT and Core). The top rated corporate companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, etc. Core companies like Tata, TVS, Sankalp Semiconductors, Bosch, etc. These give ample job opportunities for the students.

Every year the college conducts two grand events. One is the cultural fest Waves. It consists of inter-college dance and singing competitions and many other such fun events. The program ends with a fashion show. It is a 2 days event. Then the grandest event of the college is ISTE Chapter's associated Techno-Management Festival, Sankalp. It has many events from the different clubs and ends with a star night and DJ performance.

The fee structure is very feasible. It is around 1.5 lakhs per year including hostel and food charges. The food is provided 4 times a say with breakfast and evening snack and tea. The rooms are spacious and well designed with inbuilt cupboards.

There are many different types of scholarships available in different categories. Many fee waiver scholarships and excellent performance in academics scholarship etc are available. The college accepts loans from all the leading banks over the country.

The college always focuses on all round development of the students. There are about 15 different clubs of different categories which enrich the lives of students during there degree period and not only entertain them but also help them improve. The college also has different labs and helps them learn advance and new courses like CNC, Cadence, etc.

There are 7 hostels of our college. 3 of them are in the campus premises and the rest are spread across the town. The college bus every day picks up and drops the student from their respective hostels. The hostels are well designed and maintained.

The alumni network is very approachable and helpful. They frequently visit the campus and have a very interactive session with the students and faculties. Share their options and opinions for the betterment of the upcoming batches and also their experience in the outside world.

The institute follows the Biju Patnaik University of Technology and so has 8 semesters where each semester has 2 internal exams and labs. The exam structure helps the students to go through the topics and keeps them in touch and prepared for the next exams!

I had appeared for Joint Entrance Examinations mains after the intermediate exams! I had selected this college for Mechanical engineering branch! I had opted for this College and according to the marks and rank I had got this college so I joined the college.

The faculties are well experienced and highly qualified from reputed institutes across the world. They are very helpful and eager to encourage students to take up new projects and learn things that prepare the students to face the competitive world ahead. They not only help in academics but also help on a personal level.
