Course Curriculum Overview
I have studied economics in 11,12 as basics and I found interesting thought I can or h should go for this so I opted this course. Economics is a subject which will give you all the knowledge regarding the situations which are happening in day to day life. Teachers should provide some good amount of study material for us and also should provide ppt then explain to make us more clear and understand in a proper way.It is difficult as there should be 6 months for each semester but they conduct exams without 4 and half month and too much pressure and difficult level is more so many students including me cannot get good cgpa we always lack behind
Internships Opportunities
Well as a economics student I haven't received any internship to be honest but other departmenta got alot of opportunities for this so they know I don't know much about it ,but as much I have heard from other departments royal provides internship and thus gi ves jobes to many students based on their skills, knowledge etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
I am Shraddha Dey studying BA (H) Economics,5th semester from the Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati.Firstly I would speak about the fees of my course it's 36,500 per semester so I have all total 6 semesters overall 2,19000 along with I have taken transportation facilities given by the college so in one year it's 60,000 every year it keeps on increasing however I am ok with semester fee but when it comes to transportation the price is too high also extra expenses for food any departmental activities and so on.Other students have different experiences as many of them have taken hostel facility I am not familiar with the price of the hostel but I would say everything is costly in this college.Scholarships are available for those students who have topped in semester and have scored more than 9 cgpa and also have a good attendance record above 90% those will get scholarships from the college of amount rs 18,000
Campus Life
In this college something or the other is happening so I can't say specifically what events but many events are held up with different departments. About library if I say it's a good place to find peace you can study and the materials or the books which are given are good and sufficient enough. Ac, fans facility is there. Many sports are there and many tournaments are held such as cricket, football, badminton etc. Many clubs are there for different types like cultural club for dance music etc
Admission
I was preparing for CUET exam so I decided to go out and study I didn't decide my college but have decided two places first was Delhi and second was Bangalore, but I couldn't clear CUET exams after that I had to look for colleges in guwahati itself so I got selected in cotton college my name came till 2 nd list but unfortunately at the 3rd list my name was not there so I decided to go for private college and my father decided to get me into admission in the royal global University it wasn't a plan to come here and study.Due to my low percentage I couldn't get admission in other colleges. Simply give money and then interview round just asking few questions about ourself, family then why I took this course what do I know about this subject etc...
Faculty
Overall the interaction between our teachers and us is good no problem is there between us ,I personally liked Jugal sir who taught us Quantitative methods for economics his teaching was best as well as his behaviour towards the student was so good we all love and respect jugal sir and wish him all the happiness he deserves in life he is the best teacher in our entire department and I really appreciate sir. Smita maam I genuinely didn't liked her at all in the 2nd year that it 3,4 semester she taught us her behaviour was so bad and everytime she would go and complain against us that we did something that is why she is angry her behaviour was not good and she blamed us. Overall we have 2 exams one mid semester which is of 20 marks and the other is end semester which is 70 marks final exam ,it depends how many fails as he or she finds difficult in a particular subject. It is quite relevant
