Course Curriculum Overview

Courses and curriculum are good and ate taught according to the market demands so that students are aware of the new technologies . Curriculum keep us updated of what are the market demands from a student

Internship are provided by the university.but students mostly do intership by their own not depending on the university more . Value added courses are conducted after every semester which are useful in many ways

Placement Experience

Mostly students go for higher studies whereas many continue with the placement they have got from the university. Whereas some students opt to start their own business that is start-ups. placements are good. Average package is 5 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure if as per the university. They are based on different criterias such as on 12 basis or by writing cucet u can achieve the scholarship from the university . I availed 50 percent scholarship when I took the admission here

Infrastructure here is too good . U get a wonderful campus Life with alot of good memories and wonderful experiences which are stored in ur mind forever. Club activities are done on week basis . All the club are active

Admission

Admission process is simple it's upon u whether u want to take admission offline or u can opt in online mode too where councellor approaches you explains everything small thing. I took the admission through online and the mam was so helpful in guiding me

Faculty

They are very supportive. Take you to the level where you want to be . Teach you from basic , helping you in clearing the basic concepts . The faculty ratio is good as per the requirement of students.

Interview Experience

Yes I was interviewed by the councellor. Then I wrote cucet exam so that I could get an scholarship based on my knowledge. Interviews are normal and not that hectic . You can easily clear it if you have ur basics clear

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
