Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

the curriculum for architecture is detailed and brings enthusiasm in me because it requires equal amount of classroom studies and practical knowledge. the site visits are not really often and if happens we have to pay for our own experience. this is all it needs to be updated. the exams provide us with opportunity to check our learning we have mid semester exams three times it is compulsory to appear for 2 of them.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees for first year in 2022 was 1,26,000 and now per year fees varies from 96000-97000. Registration Fee 150 Development Fee 20000 Caution Money 5000 Enrollment Fee 150 Alumni Registration Fee 500 Tuition Fee* 32500 for all years Automation/IT Inflastrircture Fee 4000 Library & e-Resources Fee 3000 Professional Developments Activity 5000 Maintenance Fee 5000 Learning Resources Fee 3500 Semester Fee 2000 lnnovation/Strartup/Placement activities 2500 IMS Charges 1000 Insurance 20 Examination Fee 1300 laboratory/Workshops/Project Consumables 1950 Student Welfare Fund 750 Internship Material Cost 1500 Identity Card 100 Provisional & Migration 300 Transfer Certificate 100 this is for general category and other categories like sc st or obc are receiving scholarship of 20-100% from various programs

Campus Life

2

there is no fest of annual program held in our college. the events rarely happens and all of them are student funded even if happens. the clubs in the campus are barely active and only music club gets the fund from college no other club gets fund from college the sports clubs dance club etc are totally non functional no equipments for sports only grounds are available student have to buy their own kits and other items. no co curricular activities available in our college. the technological facility in our dept is of no use the projectors doesn't even work and those which work have discolouration issues. the cad labs are non functional. the classrooms are not up to recent trends. the campus life is of no fun there are no activities or workshops done in college that are done they are student funded and only a few of them offer certificates. the libraries are not upto date. and no recent eddition of books are available related to arch.

Admission

I chose this college because it had good image for architecture back in time but it is different now. the college was in the same city as my hometown so it was easier for me to survive here but still it is not worth it. the other architecture colleges have their own workshops while we have a common workshop in the entire college that too does not has enough equipment. other colleges have fests and fun events quite often but they are near to 0 in our college. i got admission in different colleges like NMIMS mumbai , chandigarh university, MIT ADT PUNE , DTU, IPS INDORE etc but they all were far from my hometown and so i chose to stay back here. i got admission on the basis of NATA and jee mains marks through online portal DTE site there were no GD or PI round while admision, college also offers direct admission from CLC round. the infrastructure is just average regular maintenance fees is charged but none is done. lack of resources for student of architecture.

Faculty

4

faculties have a very good relationship with students they are very helpful and supportive they provide with resources whatever is needed even from personal end but there are very less in number for 80 student in architecture dept there are only 6 faculties including senior faculty and hod. the exams are prepared above average it is tough and easy at the same time. the curriculum is updated and we recieve regular feed back forms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It includes Mathematics as well as Drawing which is easy for me to study. While faculties explain anything or have conversation. They say, "You will have to face these things. You have to talk like this. You should behave like this. COA( Council of architecture) should reduce 5yrs course to 4yrs course or 5yrs as integrated(March). Easy for 1st semester as it cover lesser syllabus. In 2nd semester as Year ends, Whole syllabus comes in examination.

The curriculum of this course is quite good. We get to learn about each aspect related to field of architecture. But somehow it feels like outdated. It should be renewed according to the new technologies which have evolved in the current industry. Other wise the curriculum focuses on quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Bachelor of Architecture in my college is pretty fine as it's a 5 year course and it has so much to learn. The faculty is also good and experienced which helps a student to learn from them as the architecture is all about building design and construction so there are plenty of subjects to cover in 5 year to know about designing a building. Tge professor's create ppt and all to teach the students and practical to know more about a building site visits to learn practical knowledge and study tour to learn about old and new architecture The college study tour is pretty good in architecture they take you to different places in India which a student enjoys and learns too
