Entrance Preview

I am a faculty member at School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal (SPA Bhopal). So my views may look naturally 'biased'. Though, established in 2008, SPA Bhopal is standing tall amongst the other legend institutions in the country. Its a rising sun.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academic beyond the course curriculum included study tours, annual international and national competitions, Integral Studios (vertical learning) and workshops initiated by various students clubs.

Placement Experience

There is an established Training and Placement cells, which look after associated issues.

College Events

In its short history, the Students have won trophies in Berkeley Prize, World Architecture Festival, NOSPlan and NASA. There is now a rich tradition of cultural and sports events. The first Inter-SPA meet was hosted by SPA Bhopal in March 2016.

Hostel Facilities

The accommodation is available within the campus on twin sharing basis. The hostels rooms have state of the art facility.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty

SPA Bhopal has one of the highest no. of faculty member, coming from reputed institutions from India and abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It includes Mathematics as well as Drawing which is easy for me to study. While faculties explain anything or have conversation. They say, "You will have to face these things. You have to talk like this. You should behave like this. COA( Council of architecture) should reduce 5yrs course to 4yrs course or 5yrs as integrated(March). Easy for 1st semester as it cover lesser syllabus. In 2nd semester as Year ends, Whole syllabus comes in examination.

Opportunities through skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Bachelor of Architecture in my college is pretty fine as it's a 5 year course and it has so much to learn. The faculty is also good and experienced which helps a student to learn from them as the architecture is all about building design and construction so there are plenty of subjects to cover in 5 year to know about designing a building. Tge professor's create ppt and all to teach the students and practical to know more about a building site visits to learn practical knowledge and study tour to learn about old and new architecture The college study tour is pretty good in architecture they take you to different places in India which a student enjoys and learns too

Remarks:

MY college

College was really fun.How quickly 3 years passed in the college.It was the best days of my life.I miss sitting in the canteen with my friends and doing so much masti. College management was not very strict and they provided us the desired freedom.I remember one incident where one of our collegue was suffering from dengue and all of us wnet to the hospital to see him.
