Course Curriculum Overview

My course was AIML. It was a good course. They taught us deep learning in detail and also helped us in our assessment. There are projects every semester so you have to work hard and create good projects

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement is 70 percent. There are many companies coming so yes we can get Placement for sure but you have to work hard yourself to get it your skills should be good enough to get it otherwise you won't get it

Fees and Financial Aid

So my college fees for 1 semester was 1,05,000 but i had 50% scholarship, registration fees is 2000 and paper fees is 2000. Fees is increasing 5% for every year and scholarships are based on exam or class 12%.

Campus Life

Campus life is very interesting they have good area good festivals they enjoy each festive there are lots pf actors coming now and then lots of social events happening so there is enjoyment for sure in college

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very well maintained it is built good all rooms are ok and have a balcony there are good washrooms and they are clean as well everyday they get cleaned so there are well maintained and wardens are also jelpful

Hostel Fee: INR 90000 per year

Admission

I chose this college because i heard that they had good placements. It's just that now they have included lot of children so it is getting difficult to get Placement but there are lot of companies coming as well

Faculty

Faculty is good . They interact with students just that some faculty are nee and have less knowledge over the subjects they teach. Rest the studies are very important and you need to study hard to gain marks

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
