Likes

I liked the college atmosphere very much.
The faculty is friendly and gets along with students easily.
The food is not bad either and the campus cafe is the good spot to hangout with friends.

Dislikes

One of the major things is the campus is too small.
We won't get holidays for some festivals like others
Events are not good at all. They conduct all the events in auditorium only. It's kind of boring

Course Curriculum Overview

I was thinking of pursuing the same course since my 10th so yeah. The curriculum helps me with my further academic pursuits. I wish there's some improvement in giving courses. I still don't know why I have mechanical in CSE. And the exams were not bad either. Some questions are difficult and some are not.

Internships Opportunities

I actually didn't get any internship opportunities yet. Since I'm a first year student and still didn't complete my first semester. I hope I get offers from some good companies as interns and good roles.

Placement Experience

The placements were not bad. I don't know much about placements but from what I heard is that placements would be good if u study well. I guess the highest package is 8,00,000 PA. And average is 4,00,000 PA.

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee is 3,00,000. I got 15% scholarship by writing GAT(Gitam Admission Test). They decreased like 40k or something and If I don't get 8.5 CGPA I won't have that scholarship anymore. I liked the college though, there's no ragging and students friendly atmosphere and the teaching is not bad either.

Campus Life

My overall experience with my campus is good. There are some festivals too but they won't be that grand. There are soo many books in the library and we have access to E-books, Audio books and more. Sports activities are good too. The sports faculty teach well.

Admission

I only applied for SRM and Gitam. And I got accepted in both the universities and since I like Bangalore I took admission here. To get scholarships we need to write GAT(Gitam Admission Test) which is held twice or thrice.

Faculty

There are many faculties, at course registration time I didn't know whom to pick as my faculty and had some seniors help me. The faculties were not bad though.1-2 faculties are strict, remaining all are friendly.

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.
