The MBBS curriculum is quite lengthy and hectic to be honest but the difficulty level gradually increases giving students time to cope up with the course . Among the first year subjects , anatomy is the subjects students struggle with the most .

For 1st year I paid 8000 rs. In total. The university examination fees was 3000. For all the category the fees is same . Most students belonging to WB board have received various scholarships based on their year of admission .

The infrastructural plan is huge but it is still under development as our college is new . The library is huge with a decent collection of books. We are provided with library cards and books are lend almost everyday. The lecture theaters are quite spacious and air conditioned which makes it very comfortable for classes especially in summers. There are many commities like IT committee, sports committee, cultural committee . Various programs are organised on special occasions giving a vivid social and cultural experience to the students.

The main reason of choosing this college is the ragging free campus and it's distance from kolkata is less. I got admission in this college based on my neet ug rank . The admission criteria is that the cut off marks for the college must be reached for selection. In 2023, the cut off marks for general catagory was 588/720 in neet ug . After allortment , the admission process takes place in the academic building where the seniors guide through the process.

The faculty is really good especially biochemistry faculty . There are 5-6 professors per 100 students so the ratio is quite good too. Our dean sir teaches biochemistry in a very conceptual and concise manner which is very useful for long answer type questions in professional examination. Every year for 4 years there will be a professional examination and 3 semesters . Professional exams determine whether the student is eligible to go to the following year of eduction and not the semesters . Semesters are like practice tests for professional examination.
