The infrastructure of college is fantastic,student wifi,ACs in each and every classroom.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is very strict. 75% is compulsorily required in every subject.

The course and curriculum is very well designed by the experienced persons and the regular updates takes place in order to copuo with the changes in technology and industrial demands.CU always keeps itself updated interms of technology.

I had no experience realted to it as I'm currently studying in 3rd semester of my course.Students grab internships on their own even college also provides internship opportunities to bombard the students with so real time industry experiences.

College provide us training programs for placement.There'a a placement cell which make sure to prepare Student as per the latest trends and demands in the industry.Number of companies come to Chandigarh University for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

1 year fees=2,40,000(for B.E.CSE) Higher fees for specializations like AI&ML etc. Scholarships: Based on CUCET(Online exam conducted by Chandigarh University) score If marks>90 out of 100 - 50% scholarship. If marks>80 out of 100 - 40% scholarship Also,there is scholarship based on class 12th marks if percentage>90-50% scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus of Chandigarh University is beautiful and big.The infrastructure is so well developed and maintained.There are ACs in each and every class and student wifi facility.One can join club out of multiple university clubs.The sports facilities are quite good and manu hackathons and extrac curricular activities takes place in CU.

Admission

The campus is beautiful and the infrastructure is so great.The scholarship here is lucrative and the number of placement offers are also fascinating which makes it a good option to consider.Other factors are like it's growth over the years.

Faculty

The faculity to student ratio is good.The faculty is experienced and supporting. The exams are divided into two categories internal and external. Internal exam contains 2 MSTs and 1 Lab MST External exam contains 1 EST and 1 LAB EST The level of exams is moderate to hard.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
