Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is as per VTU. Apart from curriculum many seminars, quizzes, exhibitions are encouraged on campus. Starting off my first-year classes, 4 weeks internship was conducted and I got the real meaning of engineering through this induction program.

Placement Experience

Since I am in the first year, I am not very clear about placement %. But many industries visit campus. I can say 2 - 3 companies every week. I think most of the eligible students will get placed.

College Events

Throughout the year Sports & Cultural activities are carried out. Of course, Wednesday afternoon is dedicated to only sports & cultural events. College celebrates Inter college cultural fest "Vemanotsav" for a weeks time and sports day "Vemana Kreedotstava" every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Good encouragement for meritorious students. There is no donation in this college. Merit students with 80% and above are admitted with Govt. fee only. Compare to many colleges it is a very less fee. Good encouragement through merit scholarships & welfare schemes.

Fees and Financial Aid

Expecting class 1st - Rs. 10,000/- for the class topper. This time I got a 9.35 CGPA score in I semester and expecting good marks in even in 2nd sem.

Campus Life

The campus may be a small but good environment to study. Well equipped and well-maintained labs. My team got the 2nd prize in Tug-of-war. My team with 4 members participated in the Science exhibition and got the 2nd prize. Gender ration is 50%. Overall nice place to study & enjoy.

Alumni/Alumna

Very few seniors are connected so far. let me see. But there is a registered Alumni association. This time the Alumni meet held during Jan / Feb but I saw a good crowd.

Admission

Admission through management quota (Merit quota)...admission took place during the month of June 2018 for the CET fee. Since I was having 87.5% I got a CET fee seat. I came to know about this college through my PU college friends. The admission process in this college is very easy.

Faculty

Excellent and friendly. I am just talking about basic science faculty since I am in the first year. They cover the portion and conducts tutoring classes. Individual students will be mentored for both academic & personal issues. They meet parents once in every semester.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Unlocking Excellence

I had applied to cambridge college of engineering. But i got admitted to Vemana institute of technology. icjoose this college over other because of the college environment which was very disciplined. No i did not get rejected.There i did not like the college environment. Based on CET results the seats will be alloted first and then for managemnt seats.
