I loved to do maths , that is why I chose this course. This course helps us learn maths , physics and coding which prepares us really well for the real world. After 1.5 months of semester you'll have mid sem exams and after 2 months of that you'll have end sem exams.

The internship opportunities are good after three years of degree. Many of my friends opted for internship and they are earning good money. Both of them are working now , by the I am a fresher and I don't know much about this.

Students can avail internships after completion of their 3rd year of degree, if they're lucky enough they can go for placements also . My plans after getting the degree is to go for higher studies that is PhD .

Course fees is different for odd and even semester, for odd semester it is 60000 and for even it is 14000.Fees is increasing very year in this university. During the course you'll be asked to give 500 rs or less yearly for the department funds for organising different events during the year. For SC students whose parents are financially weak can avail for scholarship and their fees for 1 semester is 2600 only.

There are two very big fests happening every year in the university. Other than that there is always something happening in every department every month on traditional festival. In maths department, we celebrate national mathematics week, national space day for technical events.

We have a bed , a shared almirah, a study table and a chair in our hostel rooms . Meals are sometimes good but overall it has the same taste , potato in every other vegetable . Hostel is affordable, and is allotted on the website and then you have to get it signed by your respective departments after addmission.

The other college I chose was SSM college dinanagar, I was getting confirmed addmission in that college but it only offered bsc non medical but I wanted to do bsc maths honours, that's why I chose GNDU. The value of GNDU's degree is the most in punjab. You'll have to give an entrance test for the addmission. If you qualify the exam , you are most likely to get addmission.

Faculty to student ratio is really good. The faculty is very friendly and helpful with us ,they are always ready to help us even in there break time . My favourite faculty is Dr. Himani Arora, she teaches theory of equations to us . She is very kind and helpful towards students. She always completes her syllabus on timem. There are mid and end semester exams in every semester.
