Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose ISE because it had software information about computer knowledge and they teach us various coding languages such as Java python CSS . The curriculum teachers as various coding languages which makes us prepared for the further jobs that are looking for Java developers or CSS developers I would say the curriculum prepare us around 78 or 80% to the real life world problems and further academic percetes The curriculum can be improved by giving a smore opportunities in internships and various free course available in the college itself The timings of the exams and frequent examinations where very good in first semester and 2nd semester but when compared now I think for myself it has become a bit hectic due to compact schedule

Fees and Financial Aid

I've paid 6lakh 25thousand as of now Which includes 1st year - 225000 2nd year - 200000 3rdyear(just got to 5th sem) - 200000 Tuition fees - 170000 Sports fee - 30000 Registration fee(only taken in First year admission) - 25000 Placement training fee - 3000(taken in 5th sem) I joined this college through management quota My batch mate(kcet)- 1st year - 96400 2nd year - 96400 3rd year - 101400 Placement training fee is included in their regular fee amount They also get scholarship from kcet (40% of the current college fee they pay)

Campus Life

5

The campus life is good if not great , there is single fest that is hosted for 3 days continuously which contains various events and activities such as fashion events , sports events , dance events , etc This fest is mostly held in may or June . There is a huge library available in our college which boasts around 10k different books regarding computers , coding languages , data visualization, etc . Many journals and various project reports of seniors and wjnnner projects of every years are also available. Technologicsl facilities in classroom provided by atria are interactive screen as well as a tv (mba classes) which are used for ppts and presentations Sports activities are also available kn our college, this year's vtu central division football tournament was our college team . The most supported sport in our college is football, this year a football turf was also constructed.

Admission

I had a ranking in KCET around 75k, during that time I did not have any idea I would have got an a good college or not so I took admission in atria institute of technology because it was very close to my home and had a good campus good teachings and good facility when compared to the nearby colleges from my home. Excellent the eligibility to take admission in my college through management quota was to get at least 70% in 12th standard. The eligibility to take admission in atria through kcet and comet k was to get rank around 30k to 40k. Both kcet and comet k exams are available for admission in atria, the cutoff changes every year laat year it was around 35 to 40k.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is not that bad , I'll say it's around 2:5 students in our branch 1st year faculty which are of basic science engineering were not that interactive because as you know we were in first year and we did not have that much connection with the teachers but when we consider second year the teachers were very interactive and very supportive , one of my favourite teacher is Shruti mam which teaches operating systems and she used to also coordinate our class she helps in various cultural activities that she is the cultural coordinator and she is fun to talk as well because she is good in teaching she is experienced. The teacher which I did not like was Mrs Jyoti mam used to teach us data structures she was good in teaching and very interactive but when coming to giving marks to students she used to give very less marks In a single semester there are three internals conducted which were not that hard when compared to the final exam

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%
