I didn't like anything about my university

Dislikes

The Reappears in the exams just to get money
The bathrooms are completely very bad , Not clean
The placements are not provided from almost 4 yrs

Course Curriculum Overview

Placements should be provided along with the internship aspects , there are no placements provide from almost many years Classrooms and bathrooms are the area for improvements The timing of exam is 3 hours which is ok but sometimes it's very difficult for the students to complete the exam in 3 hours bcoz of lengthiness

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

First year 92000 + 10000 for admission Second Year - 90000 Third year - 86000 Fourth Year - 86000 These are for general category For Sc category the fees is only 1100 rs per year which is very unfair for general category students No scholarships for general category students

Campus Life

Not festivals are celebrated in our campus. The books available in Library are of ok quantity, there is almost every book we needed to study in our course Classrooms are not neat and clean , fans are not working Not any sports activities till I got admission in this university, only 1-2 extracurricular activities are held Not any social group

Admission

I applied in 5 college and 1 university. I got admission call from all of them , but I choose university bcoz it's government University and it helps me in resume No I didn't get rejection from any college of my choice Entrance exam , cut-off for general - 90 For Sc - 70

Faculty

There are almost 120 students in our class with only one faculty, so it's very difficult for the faculty to manage all of them at same time Some faculties are understanding and of good nature but some have anger issues Exams are held semester wise ( 2 times per year ) Many students failed the exams , bcoz of difficulties

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide strong pharmaceutcal sciences foundation that influence my decision to take b pharmacy in GJU. This course need practical exposure that is laboratory training, industrial visits. the areas that required improvement is that they have a need to ,ake a more focus on entrepreneurship and start ups to build confidence in students. They should conduct more industrial visits for students to provide them more oppurtunities.

Placement Experience:

After 8th semester students are eligible for placements because without degree you are not able to do job because Pharmacy is totally based on medicine which effects human lives . There are more than 100 companies who visit Sgt University for off campus selection of students and interviews. Companies like sun pharma , appollo,mankind and many more companies, you can get about this on the official website of Sgt University. Highest package was of 22 lakhs from our Sgt college and average is around 5 lakhs. Percentage never makes students eligible for any kind of job , there are so many students who took job in best companies while in m pharm there was a student,he was having onle 64% and he took job in research and development field in very reputed company. I am planning to do job in any pharmaceuticals company for sometime and side by side I will prepare for govt exams because for government job like drug inspection you need atleast 18 months of job experience.
