- I like the way how our teachers teaches in a very friendly way. They make our study easier than we thought. They are too helpful.
- I like the college's environment which is out of city pollution.
- The college along with the course syllabus gives an environment to grow the student's other talents.
Dislikes
- I like the Library but it is comparatively smaller . As the college has a huge amount of students so, the college library and campus should be made quite larger
- The laboratories should have more good equipments for practical purpose.
- Girls washroom should be made and girls common room should be made better and higeinic.
Course Curriculum Overview
Actually the new curriculum influences students not only to make career in one way but also encourage to think of another aspects as well. If a student is from science background he or she has to study subjects from arts also which helps the students to get prepare for various competitive examinations . In the real world this curriculum is really helpful.
Internships Opportunities
Actually I am in 3rd sem so till now we don't have internship opportunities so, my knowledge regarding internship opportunities available with our college is low but according to the curriculum we will get internship opportunities from 4th sem onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have paid an amount of Rs. 1690 fees year wise which include affiliation fees, registration fees, enrollment fees, fees for renovation and repairing of old buildings desk bench and college furniture , computer purchase and ann main, toilet repair and clearing, boys and girls common room, CCTV and security, campus beautification and gardening, internal road and disaster fund, power, gen fuel fan bulb pur and rep, new book purchase, library, academic seminar, NAAC, faculty, guest lecturer, soft and hard skill dev, sport training, cultural facilities and training, examination fees, ID card, magazine, union fees, youth festival fees, lab equipments fees etc. Our college also provides fee waiver scheme which is quite helpful to some of the students . Scholarships like ishan Uday and NER scholarships are available for students which ranges from Rs. 10000 to 80000 which helps the students in their academics.
Campus Life
Functions like freshmen social in September, farewell in May, sports week in February, birth and death ceremonirs of famous people, independence day, republic day and various completions and youth festivals are celebrated in the campus. The library has variety of books. The classroom has smart facilities as well.
Admission
I applied for B.Borooah college also and I got selected in there and here in AVC both the colleges. As I had to choose only one collage so I preferred AVC as I heard about its science background is comparatively better than that college. The admission process is online which is quite helpful also the spot admission process was also available.
Faculty
As I belong to Physics department, the faculty to students ratio is considerably. There are 7 faculty members who are really good. They all are friendly to all the students and they put so much effort to make us clear with a topic.I like all the teachers teaching method and their friendly behaviour. There held two exams in one semester. Sometimes it is easy and sometimes a bit tough it depends on how a student prepares for it. The marking system is 50 for theory, 30 practical, 6 assignment, 6 attendance and 8 for project.
