MANIT Bhopal, First Experiences (Perspective of a Dreamer)

The Course has been Revamped 2-3 Yrs ago and new syllabus is pretty Industry Relevant. Though the First Year Curriculum still involves subjects which might not be useful for a certain sect of students. Some Subjects like- Communication Skills, Life Skill Management, NSS, NCC are very helpful for our Character Building and Mental Growth. Overall, Curriculum for 1st Year is not very relevant except 1-2 subjects but after 1st Year, Curriculum is pretty Industry Relevant

Internships are offered for SDE and Non Tech and Core and Managerial Roles for 2nd and 3rd Year Students. Students with Good CGPA (>8.5) often secure Good Internship Opportunities with Decent PPOs College also gets Support of its Alumni Base to help Students persue their Goalsto be Financially Independent, Dreams of Pursueing Masters in Foriegn Institutes.

In MANIT Bhopal CSE, the Avg Package is 25.2 LPA and Median Package is 19.5 LPA with Placement Percentage of 90.2%. The Students are eligible to sit in Placements from 7th Semester where as, for Internships Students are provided Opportunities by multiple MNCs from 3rd Semester to 7th Semester. The Highest Package was offered by Atlassian of 82 LPA to one of our Senior Overall, the ROI of College is Very High wrt Placements

The Year Wise Fee for MANIT Bhopal is 155400 for 1st Year and then onwards it is 141800 for rest of Course Tenure for General Students. For ST/SC/PwD Students, 100% Tuition Fee is Remitted whereas, for OBC/EWS Students 2/3rd of Tution Fees is Remitted. The Fee for Hostel per Semester is 20500 (Single Occupancy), 18000 (Double Occupancy) and 15500 (Triple Occupancy) The Main Scholarship for MP Based Students is MMVY (Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana) for students belonging to Income Range 1-5 LPA; ST/SC Students get National Scholarship which covers their All Kind of Fees be it Hostel, Mess, Any Others.

Campus Life is Great with 4 Fests (Tooryanaad, Maffick, Technosearch and E- Summit) organized every year. The Campus is Lush Green with Brilliant Architechture and Well Furnished Labs for Every Subjects, be it Computer Sciences to Chemistry. Library is Highly Furnished with over 30000 Books and Research Journals for MTech, PhD Scholars. There are Multiple Clubs to enhance our Social and Technical Skills like- OWASP, Inspire, Quizzer, Evolve, E- Cell, ISTE, etc. Sports facilties are World Class with Sports Complex which includes 2 Tennis Courts, 4 Volleyball Courts, 3 Cricket Grounds, 2 Football Fields, 2 Basketball Courts, 5 Badminton Courts, 8 Table Tennis Tables, 4 Carrom Tables, etc.

There are 12 Hostels and 12 Mess where 3 Hostels are alloted to each year student and 2 MTech and Foriegn Student Hostels. Rooms are well furnished with Chair, Table, Light, Fan, Bed, Almirah provided to Students with decent Ventilation Facilities, Attached Balcony. Hostels themselves have their own Volleyball, Badminton, Cricket, Football Fields. The Mess Food is Decent (Not too Good, Not too Bad) and Hygenic The Affordability of Hostel and Mess is Very Good considering the Facilities provided here. Must opt for Hostel, a Personal Advice

I got CRL 8095 in JEE Mains 2024 and 11169 in JEE Advanced 2024 so, I had ample of choices to opt from. My Best Options (Based on Last Year OR-CR) were MNNIT Allahabad ECE, NIT Rourkela ECE,NIT Kurukshetra CSE, ISM Dhanbad Mechanical, IIT BHU Metallurgy, IIT Roorkee Chemical Sciences, MNIT Jaipur DSAI, NIT Surathkal EEE, NIT Warangal EEE, NIT Trichy Mechanical, MANIT Bhopal CSE, NIT Jamshedpur CSE. I ended up selecting MANIT Bhopal CSE as, my family resides in Bhopal itself so, Proximity from Home, Brilliant Placement Records, Decent Alumni Network, Decent Startup Culture. Also the Pain of not getting in an IIT induced a Fire to crack GATE which is more compatible for CSE wrt ECE due to Curriculum Difficulty.

Professor to Student Ratio is 1:50 types, where Teachers are Approachable. Prof Pushpendra Kumar, Prof Jyoti Rani, Prof Akash Sinha are some of Brilliant Faculties due to their brilliant communication skills. The Testing Pattern comprises of Mini Test, Mid Sem Exams and End Sem Exams, Assignments, Lab Work and Viva.
