Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum of this course includes learning of various technologies and diving deep into the world of coding and understanding the Computer Science. The curriculum includes all the subjects that lead you to a place where you can pursue further studies like M.Tech, MCA etc. The course curriculum can include problem solving examination in every semester so that it becomes compulsory for everyone that he/she does coding. The frequency of internal exams can be understood as there are one internal examination in every 2 months and one external examination in every 6 months. The difficulty level is a bit high in externals but even then you can score good marks by studying well for the internals. The curriculum definetly prepares you for the real-world applications because there are projects that are compulsory to be made of real-world issues which helps you understand various requirement of different technologies in an integrated manner helpful for enhancement of lifestyle of people.
Internships Opportunities
I have done two internships / trainings out of which one was offered by the college and second one was off-campus. The one which was offered by the college was based on the Cloud Computing and the off-campus was based on Machine Learning (Cognifyz Technologies). During the internship I have worked on many projects such as: 1. Build a machine learning model to predict the aggregate rating of a resturant based on different features. 2. Created a resturant recommendation system based on the user preferenes. By all this I had gained experience about increasing the accuracy of different Machine Learning Models. Both of these Internships / Trainings were remote and also without any stipend, but I have gained a lot of experience.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible from 7th semester for the campus placements. There are atleast 25-30 companies that visit the college for campus hiring namely, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, DeltaX, Veersa Technology, Tech Mahindra, Delloite, Contata Solutions, Think future technologies etc, and also they offer a good package. One of the companies is Auto-desk which offers 20LPA for freshers on campus hiring. The average package is of 3.5 - 4.5 LPA of this college. There are almost 90% students are placed before the end of there Course time, the Career & Placement department of this college is also very supportive in terms of reaching out to companies and let them hire from our college. All the faculties are very serious for each and every student's placement activites till they get placed, the support from the teachers encourages you so that you keep doing hardwork for your placements I had planned for higher studies after completing the course and also do some other stuffs as well.

The scholarships can only be taken for the Academic fees, not for Hostel fees. There is a possible case where you can fill the fees in insatllments such as you will pay the first installment in a week and second installment can be payed in around 15 upcoming days. There are basically three annual fests that are held in this college, they are 1. GENERO- The annual Cultural fest of our college, usually held in the month of Apr-May. 2. There are so many sports' events that are held in college, we are also allowed to participate in other colleges' events. There are different technical, cultural and social clubs running in the college, with which you can explore lot.
Hostel Facilities
In the hostels there are several blocks for each year student such as the first year has a different block namely VKB & RKB, second year has ABB & CKB and third year & final year have DNB. All these years have different mess and the quality of the mess food is quite good. You can also complain for anything to the Warden of the block. The menu of all the mess changes every month where there is a meeting with the students considering their perspective the menu is made. The menu is also based on the season of the month. The registration process for the hostels is very easy such that you need to go to the registration team at the time of admission, there will always be a person of hostel available at that desk, you can ask him/her about the process and fees and then you can go to the hostel to choose your seat and then comeback after selecting the seat and also pay the fees. Thereafter you take the recipt of the payment to the hostel authorities and check-in to your room with your luggage.
Admission
I have also applied for the KIET(Ghaziabad), AKGEC(Ghaziabad), JSS(Noida) as well and got admission in ABES Engineering College (Ghaziabad). I was lucky that I was got allotted this college because it was better in terms of faculties, placements and facilities of hostels & definetly the location scenarios. The NIRF ranking of this college was also good. The Railway Station from this college is within 3 kms. I haven't got rejected form other colleges but yes they were not allotted to me because of less knowledge of counselling at that time but now I feel blessed to be in this college. There are two methods for taking admission to this college: 1. Direct Admission, 2. Admission through counselling. In direct admission in a computer science branch they require atleast 80% marks in PCM and in counselling process it depends upon the cutoff of the JEE-Mains examination(80-85 percentile minimum) and also on the counselling process of the AKTU. The admission experience was very good.
Faculty
The faculties are very approachable and are very helpful in every terms, the ratio can be around 1 teacher per 20 students of a particular year whcih is very good. I have liked almost all the faculties of my department like our HOD- Ms. Deepali Dev Ma'am, TNPL- Mr. Ritin Behl and each and every teacher out there in our department, there is no teaher/faculty whom we can't like, they all are best in nature and delivering the concepts very easily, they are so much approachable that we can contact them even after the classes. There are 8 semesters in B.Tech and for each semester there is one University Examination (External) with practicals and three internal assements with practicals. The difficulty of the semester exams is a bit high but it is completely curriculum based so one who studies better during internals has a high chance of scoring better in external examinations, also the SGPA or percentage matter till the end for placement drives.
