My college Experience

At some points, they are good and bad but if we analysis overall then it is good as in the field of studies and knowledge of the faculties are excellent. As they provide easy solutions to our doubts. The infrastructure of the college is excellent with full air conditioned in each class, faculty rooms.

There were 8 semesters in the 4 years of the course i.e. 2 semesters at each year and in each semester there are at least 6-7 subjects following with the 2-3 practical's related to the subjects. It follows the examination pattern of the DR.A.P.J ABDUL KALAM TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW. In each semester we have to give 3 sessional tests in which 2 sessional are compulsory and at the end of each semester, there is a final examination. We get internal marks out of 500 from the college and external exams are conducted at the different colleges and paper is set from the university and total marks are out of 500 means each semester contains a total of 1000 marks. Its main role in making a better professional is the handling of pressure at the critical situation and the most important self-study.

The placement of our college is good. The companies which came for placements are like Infosys, Byju's, etc. There is a percentage criterion for each company. I have done an internship in PHP from Ducat, Noida, and Java Enterprise Apps which Develops from NIIT, Gurgaon.

There are several events in the college. They are as follows:- 1.Samvet - It is the annual festival extravaganza. Students compete in diverse events like debates, elocutions, rangoli design, skits, Antakshri, dance shows, fashion shows, etc. 2. Founder's Day- It is celebrated every year to commemorate the Achievements of its founder Shri Shiv Ram Das Gulati and honors the family of the army's and students of the college for their excellent academics records. 3. Techfests- To exhibit the technical aptitude of our budding engineers, an informative exposition is organized every year. Students demonstrate their creations in the form of models, designs, and experiments. 4. Clubs & Societies- It offers plenty of club and societies to polish the specific skills and the interest of the students. 5. Samman Samaroh- Every year, in this where teachers and meritorious students from top performing schools of the state are felicitated. 6. Seminars and Workshops- Every year it is conducted for the students and teachers of the college for learning the in-out view of the industries.

The total fees of the course are 4lacs(approx.). Admission fees- 25k + Academics fees- 99850 of the 1 year + Hostel fees- 54K in the first year and after that 53K each year. Currently, the fee structure of the college is 4.27 lacs(approx.). in the first year- 1.10lacs(approx.) and after that 1.05(approx.).

Yes, I opted for the scholarship that the government provides to the students whose family income is approximately 1 lacs.

Campus life was good we were allowed to interact with the faculties, students of the different colleges and departments. Every year there is an extracurricular activity happens to like sports, dance competitions, debates and many more. Labs are well maintained and every lab has assistants for help. But restrictions were there for the bunking of the classes.

Hostel fees in the first year were 54K and after that, it was 53K + extra charge of cooler is 1000 and air conditioner chargers as per meter reading. Facilities are good like geyser, fan, light, table, chair, bed, almirah for each student and food is also good.

Yes, they were helpful because they help in the studies, about the placements of the college and they provide exam materials for the study. Till now I am in contact with many seniors.

I got the direct admission in this college on 22/06/2014. Firstly, there was a small test of 10 minutes and after clearing that test then there was an interview with the vice president of the college. He asked a few questions related to my academics and then he discussed the fee structure, courses and what stream I want to pursue my engineering. They charge 25K for the admission at the starting and overall fees of the 4-year course are 4lacs and they provide college dress & bags to the students.

We can directly go to our faculties for any help related to studies or apart from this also. And we also got the phone numbers of our faculties for any query so that we can contact them easily. There was a WhatsApp group in our department in which also we can ask our queries.
