Course Curriculum Overview
During high school, I decided to be an engineer so I take admitted to BTech CSE at the united college of Engineering and Management, prayagraj. The faculties are good and supportive, especially during the third year and final years. They are not only good mentors but your friends too when you need them. All the teachers of our institutions are from a technical background only and their least qualification is M.Tech and someone is also from a Ph.D. background. We have three sessional exams per semester of which two is mandatory. Exams are simple to clear and you have to score both marks because these marks are going to be added to your external exams.
Internships Opportunities
All the top MNCs including TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, Mphasis, Walmart, Harman, and Daffodils are providing internships and roles as per policy. Every year you have to submit one mini-project and one major project
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees per year are around 1,10,000 and it costs around 4,50,000 including all four years. The scholarship is provided by the UP government in which you get 50% of your fees if and only if your parents are non-government employees and non-IT players. Many MNCs are coming during placement sessions and select a big number from college.
Campus Life
Every year college is conducting a tech fest. We generally celebrate during the last of October or during the first week of November. There are lacs of books in the library and generally, it's available all the time. Classrooms are provided with all necessary amenities. The college has both internal and external sports grounds.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are occupied with almirah, table, chair, and bed. The meal is good and each day you will get something different on the menu every Wednesday they give kadi,chawal, and each Sunday you will get aloo paratha or bread jam in the morning. During admission, you can directly opt for a hostel. I was in the college's hostel only but you can find other PG nearby.
Admission
Eligibility to take admission for Btech if you have done your intermediate with PCM with 60%. You can opt for this college either through an exam conducted by AKTU through counseling or you can direct approach the college through their website. I am not sure whether they have reservation benefits . The admission process during our time was simple and smooth so as per my experience I don't feel it needs any improvement.
