Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is great in our college and the teaching methodology used for teaching this course . It helps us to solve the real life problems as it allows us to implement the practical knowledge of our learning .

Class Size: 88Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are various internship oppurtunities available in my campus some of which are sandisk which provide internship for six months with a stipend of 35000 and food coupons worth rupees 1800 Coding ninjas provide internship for role Sales at Adminssion Counsellor with stipend of 25000 and if student is selected for full time can expect a CTC of 8 LPA

Placement Experience

I was eligible for campus placement in 6th semester . and their are various companies which visited CU like MUSigma , SAP solutions , Onebanq , hiremi etc. Average package is 8 LPA and highest is 45 LPA CU claims 100% placement for the student acquiring their speacial classes which are TPP classes and CU charge extra 9000 for it My plan after degree is to work in a reputed MNC

Fees and Financial Aid

I was paying 90000 per semester but my college also provide upto 100 % scholarships after giving the chandigarh university common entrance test . Student should maintain 7.5 Cgpa throughout to maintain this scholarhsip

Campus Life

THere are many technical events and festivals that are being held repeatitively like tekathon , ideathon and many fest. There is a wide range of books which are available in CU library and the library of Chandigarh university can be managed online using the portal. Sports section of CU is also good and it has its own private Sports complex for various events .

Admission

The placement record for the chandigarh University is best among the top universities in the North . Every year 900 companies visit CU for the recruitment process. Admission process for the college was CUCET or the JEE rank .

Faculty

The faculty are easily approachable in my college . And the ratio for the student to teacher is 1:50 . Anum malik manzoor mam was my personal favourite of all the time. Neha dutta mam was our cooridnator and very supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

My college experience as a fresher

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Placement Experience:

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
